Jennie, Lisa and Rose shouted their encouragement to Jisoo before heading to the audience seat below the stage.

They had already peformed their parts, Jisoo and Sehun were the last performers.

Jisoo smiled, grateful that she had those three girls who constantly encourage her, help her and were always there for her.

"Next up, last but not least, we have Sehun and Jisoo who will be showcasing a dance performance for us tonight."The emcee announced."Let's give them a round of applause!"

Jisoo breathed in and out, calming herself.

"Hey."Sehun nudged her."You alright?"

Jisoo gave him a nervous smile and nodded.

"You'll be fine."Sehun said, squeezing her hand that was holding onto his forearm."I promise."

Sehun's steady and sure voice calmed Jisoo's nerves.

She was really grateful that he is here with her now.

The curtains drew apart and the music began.

The audience was silent as they watched Sehun and Jisoo's performance.

"She's the blind girl right?"

Suddenly, a girl in the row closest to the stage started whispering.

"Yeah."Her friend sitting beside her responded."She's so lucky to be paired with Sehun!"

"Lucky for her."The girl snorted."Let's just hope that she doesn't mess it up for him."

"Shh!"Her friend shushed her, nudging her in the ribs.

Jisoo heard what they had said.

Don't let them bother you! Trust in yourself! You can't break down now, not after working for so long and so hard!

She took a deep breath to push out their whispers and focus on her performance.

The music ended, signaling the conclusion of Sehun and Jisoo's performance.

"Way to go Ji!"

Jisoo could hear her friends cheering and whooping for her in the audience.

Sehun only rolled his eyes in amusement at Kai and the rest of his friends' shouts.

Jisoo felt lighter. Lighter than she had been for the past few weeks.

A huge grin broke upon her face and she squeezed Sehun's hand that was clasping hers.

Sehun couldn't help but smile when he sees the grin on Jisoo's face.

They didn't let go of each other's hands even after the curtains closed and they were left alone.
