Margaritas
The Golden QuillSorry bit of a filler chap - but it's important what happens with Jungkook.
Gaelin found Jungkook in the library located on the first floor of their apartment. He was listening to something on his phone. There was a pile of music books around him. Jungkook noticed her watching him and straightened on the couch. Gaelin took a seat in the chair opposite him.
“Do you want something to drink?” she asked.
“What is nuna drinking?” Jungkook reached for his phone and pushed the button for service. This was a custom made app that Gaelin had developed as part of Oracle.
“Here,” Gaelin handed him an envelope with the official Oracle seal. “That was all the information I managed to find on your mystery musician.” Jungkook stared at the envelope for a long time, “aren’t you going to open it?”
“Later…” he was breathless as he slipped the envelope into his inner pocket of his blazer. His heart was racing.
“Jungkook ssi about this…”
“Thank you nuna. You never disappoint me.” Jungkook felt embarrassed to talk about it.
Gaelin sighed but nodded, “If you need anything else then you just ask…”
Tanaka knocked once and then entered the library. Jungkook was glad for the interruption, “Welcome home President. Did you have a good day?” He greeted Gaelin with a formal bow, “Would you like something before dinner?”
Gaelin tapped her chin, “I feel like something light and fruity. It's such a wonderful day.” She gestured outside where the sun was still high in the sky.
“I could make margaritas,” Tanaka suggested, “I have just picked up some fresh lime as well.”
“That sounds heavenly.”
“I’ll have the same.” Jungkook said, “Let's sit out on the terrace.” They moved outside and chose a table under the sun. Tanaka soon came outside with a fresh pitcher of the cocktail and some pastries. He handed Gaelin her sunglasses and asked if they needed anything else.
“Hyung join us” Jungkook suggested and looked quickly at Gaelin.
“I hardly think…” Tanaka began
“I insist” Gaelin patted the chair beside her, “It has been too long since we last shared a drink.”
“I would prefer to stay sober when the President drinks.” Tanaka insisted.
“Tanaka, who is the boss here and just what are you implying about my drinking?” Tanaka bowed apologetically and sat. He distributed the drink and took a hesitant sip.
