Everything Lost
The Golden QuillIt had been a week and Gaelin was insane from worry and the jealousy was eating her alive. She couldn’t eat, she couldn’t sleep and she couldn’t think of anything else but Soo-hyuk with Woo Yerin or Soo-hyuk with another woman. The images played in her mind and twisted her stomach into knots and caused her to throw up over and over. Nothing stayed in her system and she could feel how weak she was. Soo-hyuk avoided her, he didn’t speak to her, he didn’t sleep in the same room as her, he didn’t have any time for her, except when they had to put on a good show for everyone. By the second week Gaelin was ready to break. It was nearing 8 pm, so early but Soo-hyuk wasn’t back and his schedule was blank. It was paranoia but she couldn’t’ control it anymore.
“Where is he?” Gaelin demanded of her HM, “his schedule is clear.”
Namjoon avoided looking at Gaelin, “I am not sure President. Perhaps a delay at the office, should I check? Maybe he wanted some free time?”

Something was going on between the Presidents. He still hoped that things had returned to normal, but who was he kidding? Something was definitely wrong when Gaelin and Soo-hyuk didn’t schedule any private time or didn't want to be around each other.
Gaelin didn’t offer any more information and took one of the cars and drove to Finite herself. Parking in the private garage that was secured for Consortium members she took the private elevator to the suite. It was their own suite to do with as they wished, separate from the suites that each family owned. The foyer and lounge area was empty. Gaelin set down her keys and bag and looked around. There was an open bottle of wine, but no glasses. Gaelin turned toward the bedroom door but she stopped. Maybe she deserved this. After all, she had committed the first crime against their marriage. But she was going insane, finally crazy like her grandmother and mother. Driven to the edge by the man she loved.
Soo-hyuk came out of the room and their eyes clashed. Soo-hyuk didn't look pleased to see her. There was a distaste in his expression, like the sight of her was off-putting. “Is it over?” Soo-hyuk didn’t repl
