Bribe
The Golden QuillWoo Minjae rose from the table and bowed. Kim Seokjin nodded and they sat. Woo Minjae studied the blonde haired man with the soft features. He was definitely younger than him, but no matter how hard Minjae had tried, he couldn't find any information on Seokjin or his partner. The two men were a mystery. It was like they didn't even exist. His father didn't have any more information either. Minjae was about to take a chance, but he was confident in his ability to sway the vote. He had no problem with playing dirty. He had done worse than try his hand at a little bribery.
"President Woo, I hope you understand that I do not enjoy being summoned," Seokjin ordered a glass of water and stared just passed Minjae's head. It made him feel insignificant. "What is it that you want to say?"
"Straight to the point?" Minjae had hoped to butter the man up with a fat meal and expensive alcohol. Seokjin didn't respond, "How do you judge the competition?"
"It is in the pack you received." was Seokjin's blunt reply.
"Then I will just come right out and say it..."
"Please do." Seokjin finally looked at him.
"I want the Golden Quill. I will pay whatever price you name." Seokjin smirked and Minjae felt hot under the collar, this was not going the way he wanted. "Surely you must not enjoy being a glorified invigilator."
"Hmm." Seokjin was thoughtful, "Invigilator, I have never been called that before. I like it." he mused.
