Goodbye...for now
The Golden Quill“Don’t leave!” Yoonah cried as Gaelin, Yoongi and Soo-hyuk said their goodbyes. They were on a field and Yoongi’s helicopter waited for them.
“So this is how you lot travel?” Jong-hyun nodded toward the waiting helicopter.
“I don’t mind the train,” Gaelin said, “but his time is precious.” She nodded toward Yoongi who was with Yoonah. “I am so glad I met you,” she told Jong-hyun, “you are an incredible man and I…”
“I know what you want to say and I feel the same way,” he reached out and clasped her face. Soo-hyuk watched silently.
“It’s okay,” Yoongi told his friend.
“I know,” Soo-hyuk frowned, “But it still hurts. You know in here?” he touched his chest and then straightened, “ready to go back home?”
Yoongi laughed, “Soo-hyuk, you’re the greatest you know that?”
“You’re still dead.” Soo-hyuk snapped and got into the helicopter.
“I knew it too,” Yoongi sighed as he stretched out his hand to Gaelin. Gaelin hesitated as she looked back at the helicopter and then she embraced Jong-hyun, “You’re a good man,” She whispered and then she turned and walked toward Yoongi and took his hand. He helped her into the helicopter. They stared down as the ground grew further away from them, the copter rose higher and higher.
“I am sorry if you’re sad,” Soo-hyuk said tightly.
“No,” she took his hand and pressed her head against his shoulder, “I am very happy right now. I can’t wait to go home and make things rig
