The group was nicer than they needed to be to Seokjin. They would show him around the city, wouldn't get frustrated when he didn't understand what they were saying, ("We're all learners here, Alyosha,") and in general just provided him company. They also obviously didn't appreciate people looking at him strangely, as the citizens of Moscow tended to do, so if anyone was caught staring, the young group would point out their sin and comment in harsh Russian that Seokjin was slowly learning to understand.
The only thing was: he didn't feel particularly close to any of them.
That was until a morning where one of the boys was chattering with one of the girls in a mixture of Russian and English. The general sentiment of what they were saying was something along the lines of the boy had a younger brother that was coming to live with him in his apartment, some joke about him being more attractive... etc.
The boy is there that afternoon. Your friend walks to you, a smile on his face, saying, "Alyosha, meet my brother."
But Seokjin isn't fully listening to his words, because he's too focused on the smiling boy that he is meeting. Because Seokjin knows that particular smile, he knows the way those eyes smile with that mouth when the smiles is there, because he is so familiar with them.
