It was just a precaution, that's what they said. A last resort if a time came where everything went to hell.

They gave a panic button to three different members. They didn't tell who, and the three in the possession of one didn't know who else had one.

The logic behind it was simple: aliases for us were being created all over the world. Tiny, insignificant, normal lives. Should something horrible happen and our lives were on the line, a member with a panic button could press it. If all three panic buttons were pressed, the plan would go into effect. We would each be taken to our aliases and become the alias until whatever had happened had blown over.

We would disappear.

When they told us about all this, we were a bit creeped out. But we didn't stress about it, after all, what could possibly happen that would be so bad all three buttons were pressed?

That thought remained until the award ceremony.

No words could describe our excitement for the event. I mean, think of it: a K-Pop group being in an international music awards ceremony with creators from other genres. Incredible. When it was announced to us we would be in it, we were psyched. We practically fell into a heap of excited bodies, and were calm until one particular member started crying, which of course ended with us all being a sobbing mess.

Long story short, we were on top of the world.

On the day of the event, we were all getting ready, the stylists and makeup artists getting annoyed with our constant need to get up and check on the other members, just to check that this is really happening.

When we entered the huge auditorium, we were immediately met with the excited cries of what would eventually be our demise: A.R.M.Y.

They were everywhere in the room, yelling their support and compliments. Laughing and blushing, we took our seats and the cries quieted as more celebrities took their seats and the event began.
