Puppy Love

SaTzu One-Shots

Tzuyu is almost officially done with high school. It was her last day of classes before the graduation ceremony. Tzuyu is excited to go on vacation before she has to attend her university’s orientation. Tzuyu is also very excited for another reason.

She can legally pursue Sana.

Tzuyu didn’t know how she should go about this.

Should I just ask her out? Is it too soon? What if she thinks I’m weird?

“Tzuyu!”

Tzuyu almost tripped.

“Y-Yes?” Tzuyu blinked as she looked at her Japanese teacher.

“I know you and your fellow classmates are excited to be done with high school, but that is no excuse for you to slack off in our last few hours of class!” Sana scolded.

“S-Sorry,” Tzuyu apologized, looking down.

Sana giggled before patting Tzuyu on the head. “I’m just kidding, we don’t have anything else to learn anymore.”

“Yeah Tzuyu, we were all just talking about puppies for the last half hour,” Dahyun snickered. The class chuckled a bit at Tzuyu’s lack of attention.

“Oh.”

Puppies? I’m triggered.

“I met the cutest puppy not too long ago!” Sana sighed as she brought her hands to her own cheeks, relishing in the memory of the cute puppy.

Cute?

Tzuyu smiled when memories of her puppy experience came rushing in. She thought it was pretty fun; she did get to hang out with Sana all day, after all.

“Tzuyu, you’re dozing off again! I would like all of us to engage into some sort of conversation together before school ends,” Sana said with a pout. Tzuyu felt her cheeks tint at the sight.

“O-Of course! Sorry,” Tzuyu apologized once more.

“Have you ever had a puppy, Tzuyu?” Sana asked. Everyone looked at Tzuyu, waiting for her response.

“Kind of.”

“How do you ‘kind of have a puppy? Dahyun guffawed.

“Are you talking about your puppy stuffed animal?” Chaeyoung teased.

Goddammit guys.

“So, you had a puppy?” Sana was confused about Tzuyu’s answer

“It’s hard to explain.” Tzuyu didn’t know what else to say.

“Well we have time-”

The bell rang.

Everyone cheered and bounced out of their seats. As the students piled out the door, many of them thanked Sana for being a wonderful teacher during their time in high school. Sana responded to each student happily; she’s glad that she’s a well-liked teacher.

As usual, Tzuyu was the last person to leave the room. Tzuyu frequently stayed a bit after class to talk to Sana.

“Tzuyu, did you need something?” Sana smiled as she looked at Tzuyu.

“A few weeks ago you mentioned that you ‘may or may not’ have a graduation gift for me.” Tzuyu twiddled her thumbs. “D-Do you have one?”

Sana laughed a bit and smirked. “Maybe.”

“Maybe?” Tzuyu looked hopeful.

“I might give it to you after the graduation ceremony,” Sana teased. Tzuyu had to hold back her sigh of disappointment.

“Okay.”

“I’m really proud of you, Tzuyu! You did great in your entire time here in high school,” Sana praised, patting Tzuyu on the head again.

Tzuyu shivered at the touch.

She treats me like a dog.

“Thank you, it really means a lot.” Tzuyu loved when Sana praised her. That’s why she always completes her homework and studies hard for all her exams.

“You’re going to go far Tzuyu, I just know it!”

“I hope so,” Tzuyu shyly replied.

“I know so.” Sana softly tapped Tzuyu’s cheeks. The two just smiled at each other for a few seconds before Sana awkwardly coughed.

“You should run along now, go celebrate with your friends,” Sana suggested.

“Yeah, I should.”

Nobody moved.

“Uh, Tzuyu?” Sana blinked.

“R-Right.” Tzuyu swung her backpack over her shoulder before bowing at Sana. “Thank you for everything!”

Sana smiled brightly at Tzuyu’s thoughtfulness. “Of course, you’re worth it~”

Tzuyu had to swallow her squeals, bowing at Sana once more before opening the classroom door. She accidently closed the door on her shoe on her way out.

“Oops.” Tzuyu slid her foot out and properly closed the door.

Sana shook her head in amusement.

“She’s cute.

As Tzuyu walked out the door of the school, she realized that she forgot to give Sana another apple for being an awesome teacher. Tzuyu opened her backpack and dug through its contents. She froze when she felt a familiar object.

A vial.

Should I?

Tzuyu pondered for a bit. She thought about all the benefits of drinking the potion again.

I get to spend time with Sana, she absolutely loved me as a puppy, I get to spend time with Sana, she gave me all her attention, I get to spend time with Sana, the effects are only temporary, I get to spend time with Sana, she’ll never know the puppy was me, and… I get to spend time with Sana.

Tzuyu nodded after she convinced herself that this was a good idea.

“I’m going to do it.”

Tzuyu quickly ran back home. She dropped off her backpack, not before taking the vial out of it, of course. She raced back to the school and walked towards a vacant hallway. She opened the vial and gulped as she stared at the strange concoction. She quickly looked around to make sure no one was around her before she downed the liquid. Tzuyu quickly chucked the empty vial to the side as she felt the potion take affect.

After a few minutes, Tzuyu realized that she feels much smaller now.

Did it work?

Tzuyu tried speaking, “Testing.”

She heard a bark.

Okay, it worked.

Tzuyu happily skipped towards Sana’s classroom. She sat patiently in front of it as she listened to Sana pack up her belongings.

Tzuyu raised her little nonexistent-dog eyebrow as she heard Sana talk to herself.

“Where’s my watch? I just saw it a few minutes ago!” Tzuyu heard Sana rummaging through her desk.

“Oh, it’s on my wrist! Silly me~”

Tzuyu held back a snort.

Oh, Sana.

Tzuyu couldn’t stop her tail from wagging happily as she saw the door slowly open. She also stuck her tongue out involuntarily. She beamed up at Sana, waiting for Sana to noticed her.

Except, she didn’t.

Sana almost stepped on her. She almost killed Tzuyu with her sharp heels. Tzuyu whimpered as she quickly jumped out of the way. The cute sound caused Sana to finally look down.

“Oh my god~” Sana dropped all of her belongings as she smiled at the cute puppy. Tzuyu had to bounce out of the way again to avoid getting crushed by Sana’s heavy bags.

“It’s you! The cute, little puppy that I couldn’t stop thinking about!” Sana picked up Tzuyu and brought her close to her face. She pecked Tzuyu’s little nose. Tzuyu’s tail would not stop wagging.

She couldn’t stop thinking about me?

“Where did you go last time? Did you go home or something? Do you have an owner?” Sana pestered the dog. Tzuyu just blinked, staring into Sana’s soul.

Sana giggled to herself before shaking her head. “You’re a dog, of course you can’t answer me.” Sana gently placed the puppy back onto the floor before picking up her bags. “Would you like to come home with me?”

Tzuyu barked happily, jumping a bit. Sana squealed and dropped her bags again. Tzuyu had to avoid getting killed by them again.

“You’re so cute, I just can’t with you~” Sana pinched Tzuyu’s fluffy cheeks before massaging them a bit. “You’re squishy like tofu.” Sana giggled as she continued to abuse Tzuyu’s little face.

Uh.

Sana eventually let go of Tzuyu and picked up her belongings again. She gestured Tzuyu to follow her. “Well, come on!”

Tzuyu trotted behind Sana as Sana led her to her car outside. Sana placed her bags in the trunk of the car before picking Tzuyu up and placing her onto the passenger seat. Sana sat in the driver's seat and smiled down at the adorable puppy. “You good?”

Tzuyu barked before jumping onto Sana’s lap.

That was my instinct as a dog. It has nothing to do with my desire to touch Sana…. Please believe me.

Sana chuckled and pet Tzuyu’s soft fur. “Okay, you can stay there, just don’t move too much.” Sana buckled her seatbelt and drove out of the parking lot. “Do you wanna go to the park? I can let you run around and play with other dogs or something!”

Uh, no thanks.

Tzuyu just looked up at Sana with pleading eyes.

Please don’t.

Sana squealed again. “Oh, don’t show me that face! I’ll go to the park right now! I can tell that you’re begging me to take you there!”

Tzuyu mentally facepalmed. She didn’t ask for this.

It took a few minutes for Sana to arrive at the park. She parked in some random spot before exiting the car with Tzuyu in her arms. She placed Tzuyu onto the large patch of grass.

“Go play!” Sana pointed towards the field. Tzuyu just stared at her, unimpressed.

“Do you need to pee or something?” Sana picked Tzuyu up again and walked towards a small tree. She placed her down next to the tree. “Go on.”

Tzuyu rolled her eyes. She then froze when she smelt an interesting scent. Tzuyu began sniffing wildly at the tree.

I have this strange urge to… claim this spot.

Tzuyu squatted before peeing.

“Good girl!” Sana praised. Tzuyu froze. She stayed in her awkward position and stared at Sana, practically glaring at her.

“Oh, sorry.” Sana giggled as she covered her eyes. Tzuyu continued peeing.

After she finished, she had the strange urge to kick her back feet. So she did. She kicked at the ground beneath her, causing grass, leafs, and dirt to fly up… towards Sana.

“No! Bad girl!” Sana scolded as she wiped some dirt off her clothes. Tzuyu felt the world stop at those two words.

Bad… girl….?

Tzuyu felt her ears droop and her tail suddenly dropped between her back legs. She looked down, whimpering.

“Oh, no! It’s okay! Really!” Sana couldn’t help but gush at the adorable sight. She felt her heart break at the sad puppy. Sana picked Tzuyu up again and held her near her chest.

Tzuyu’s face was smothered against Sana’s… ahem.

I’m in heaven.

Tzuyu’s tail started wagging uncontrollably again as she snuggled further into Sana. Sana smiled when she realized that the puppy was happy again. She placed Tzuyu back onto the floor and widen her eyes when she saw two dogs running towards them.

“Look, friends!” Sana pointed at the two dogs. Tzuyu slowly looked at where Sana was pointing. Two massive dogs were running straight at her. Tzuyu whined and began hopping up at Sana, wanting Sana to pick her up.

“Nice trick!” Sana praised Tzuyu. Tzuyu mentally facepalmed again.

Tzuyu closed her eyes and braced herself as the two dogs neared her.

I’m going to die.

Tzuyu didn’t feel anything for a few seconds. As she slowly opened her eyes. She was greeted with two massive dogs staring right at her, breathing onto her face with bacon-scented breath. Tzuyu just stared back; she shook a little. Tzuyu’s eyes widened when she felt one of them near her… bottom half.

What is it- Oh, there goes the other one.

Both dogs were now smelling Tzuyu’s backside, sniffing vigorously.

“You’re making friends~” Sana clapped her hands as she watched the three dogs. Tzuyu whined a bit. She then suddenly had the strange urge to smell the other dogs’ backsides. So she did. She wiggled her nose and she smelled them.

Hmm, interesting.

One of the dogs suddenly walked near Sana and began wagging its tail. Tzuyu noticed this and growled.

You better back up.

Tzuyu growled louder as the dog sniffed Sana’s feet.

“What’s wrong?” Sana looked worriedly at Tzuyu. Tzuyu began barking at the other dog when it walked near Sana too.

“Okay, let’s go. You seem upset,” Sana said as she maneuvered away from the two dogs and picked Tzuyu up. Sana hummed as she walked back to her car. Tzuyu looked over Sana’s shoulder and looked at the two dogs with a smug expression.

That’s right, es.

Sana began driving them back to her house. Tzuyu was sitting on Sana’s lap again. She wiggled her bum in joy.

“What’s the matter? Do you want fresh air?” Sana rolled down her window. Tzuyu’s dog instincts automatically guided her to stick her head out the window. Tzuyu’s little tongue rolled out as the strong wind blew through her voluminous fur.

This… This is amazing.

Sana laughed loudly at the dog’s odd expression. She allowed Tzuyu to stick her head out the rest of the ride. The ride wasn’t very long, they arrived at Sana’s house rather quickly. Sana held Tzuyu close to her chest again before retrieving her items from the truck. She locked the car and started to unlock her house’s front door. Tzuyu shivered with excitement.

We’re going to snuggle, she’s going to feed me, she’s going to play with me, she’s going to give me sweet kisses-

Tzuyu’s thoughts were interrupted when she heard someone squeal from inside the house.

“Sana, you’re back! With an adorable puppy!” The person inside Sana’s house ran towards her and took her away from Sana. Tzuyu felt her air dissipating as the strange woman held onto her with a death grip.

“This is the puppy I was telling you about, Mina,” Sana explained.

Mina? Who’s Mina? Is she her girlfriend-

Tzuyu growled a bit. Mina practically threw Tzuyu back into Sana’s arms. Sana dropped her bags just in time to catch her.

“I don’t think she likes me,” Mina stated shakingly.

“Don’t be ridiculous! She just doesn’t know you!” Sana patted Tzuyu’s head. “This is my friend, Mina! She’s staying over for the weekend! Her house is currently being fumigated.”

Tzuyu’s small body felt a surge of relief.

Friend? Thank god.

“I’ll be right back, Mina. I have to change.” Sana placed Tzuyu onto the floor before walking up the stairs to her room. “I’m be right back cutie~”

“Okay.” Mina held out a thumbs up towards Sana. Tzuyu growled.

Sana snorted, “Not you! I’m talking to that cute little munchkin!” Sana blew a kiss towards the small puppy before continuing her way up to her room. Tzuyu’s little paws created little thumping sounds as she trotted to the staircase. Tzuyu looked at Sana’s retreating form and felt panic stir deep within her.

W-Where is she going? She said she’ll be back… Is she lying? Is she going to leave me here forever? Oh my god, it’s already been a LONG TIME since she’s left me. What do I do? I’m going to die here alone.

Tzuyu heard a cough and looked back at Mina. Mina covered and waved awkwardly at the dog.

“Please don’t eat me.” Mina bowed.

If Tzuyu could probably scoff, she would.

Okay, I’m not alone…. But where’s Sana? Did she get lost on her way back? Is she hurt? I MUST find her!

Literally not even a minute passed since Sana left.

Tzuyu quickly began her hike up the stairs. She panted heavily as she struggled to climb up the rather large steps. Mina just watched the puppy with a smile on her face.

You’re no help.

When Tzuyu finally reached the top, she dashed towards Sana’s room. She remembered where it was.

Girl, you made me climb Mount Fuji-

Tzuyu felt her tongue roll out of again. She knew she was drooling. Tzuyu couldn’t help but stare deeply at Sana.

Why?

Because Sana was again. Sana’s back was facing Tzuyu, so Tzuyu had a nice view of her back… and other areas.

Tzuyu used her own tongue to her nose.

Good, I’m not nose bleeding.

Sana suddenly turned around and giggled when she saw Tzuyu. “When did you come up here?”

Tzuyu didn’t say a word, or in this case, bark a word. She continued to stare at Sana’s exposed frontside.

She has very nice-

Tzuyu’s thoughts were cut off as Sana walked closer to her. She felt the world began moving in slow motion as Sana’s y body was only inches away from her. Sana picked up Tzuyu and gave her an Eskimo kiss.

Tzuyu’s tail wag faster like never before.

“Whoa, if your tail moves any faster, you’ll probably fly like a helicopter!” Sana pointed out with a laugh. She gently placed Tzuyu on her bed before getting into her comfortable clothes. She lifted Tzuyu up again and cooed into her face. Tzuyu happily at Sana’s face in return.

“Gosh you’re adorable!” Sana squealed in a high-pitch tone. Tzuyu barked in reply.

I know I am.

Sana placed Tzuyu on the bed again. “Wait here, I’ll be right back.” Sana exited her bedroom and walk into her bathroom to freshen up. Tzuyu rolled around comfortably on Sana’s soft bed.

This is the life. Absolutely nothing can ruin this day.

Tzuyu felt her body tingle.

me.

Tzuyu bounced off the bed and felt her body change. She eventually reached full height and saw her own human face in Sana’s mirrors. She saw herself fully intact, with her clothes as well, of course.

“.” Tzuyu quickly opened Sana’s window. She was going to have to jump off. Tzuyu looked down.

I probably won’t break a leg.

“It was nice while it lasted,” Tzuyu sighed. She was getting ready to lift a leg over the window when someone entered the room.

“I’m back- Tzuyu?” Sana stopped at her doorway.

“H-Hi?” Tzuyu waved awkwardly.

“What are you doing here? How did you get in here? Where’s that cute puppy?” Sana asked many questions quickly, not giving Tzuyu a chance to respond.

“I, uh…” Tzuyu didn’t know what to say. Sana noticed the open window and smirked.

“Was that your puppy?” Sana asked.

“Uh-”

“Did you send your puppy to me twice?”

“Well-”

“A few weeks ago when I found your backpack… Did you purposely leave your backpack near your puppy in the alleyway so that I would return it to you?” Sana walked closer to Tzuyu with every question she asked.

Tzuyu didn’t say a word.

“Did you use your puppy as a way to get closer to me? You climbed in through my window after you were satisfied with your puppy’s work, did you not?” Sana smiled knowingly; she thought she understood the whole situation perfectly.

She could not have been more wrong.

“S-Sure,” Tzuyu finally replied.

“Oh, Tzuyu.” Sana stepped close to Tzuyu. She rested her palm on Tzuyu’s cheek. “If you wanted your graduation gift early, all you had to do was ask.”

“But I-”

Tzuyu’s words were muffled as Sana kissed her. Tzuyu’s eyes automatically closed as she felt Sana’s luscious lips move against her’s. They stayed in that position for a good amount of time. It wasn’t until Tzuyu rested her hands on Sana’s hips that they both finally pulled away. Tzuyu tried to reconnect their lips for another kiss, but Sana placed a perfectly-manicured finger on Tzuyu’s lips to stop her.

“Your gift didn’t come with extras, you’re going to have to do a few things for me first,” Sana teased.

“Oh.” Tzuyu smiled sheepishly. She looked in thought for a few seconds before looking at Sana determinedly. “This may be an odd time to ask, but… Miss Minatozaki-” Tzuyu shook her head. “I mean, Sana, will you go on a date with me?”

Sana smiled softly before replying, “Ask me again after you graduate.”

Tzuyu sighed before showing a small smile. “Okay.”

“Sana, you’ve been gone for a while! What are you going?!” Mina shouted from downstairs.

“I’ll be right there!” Sana shouted back. She looked into Tzuyu’s eyes and gestured towards her window. “I think you should go. Mina’s going to ask me all sorts of embarrassing questions if she sees you.”

“Okay.” Tzuyu nodded. Tzuyu lifted her leg over the window. She paused and looked at Sana again. “You said I have to do a few things for you first before I can get another kiss… What things are we talking about here?”

“Like bringing your dog to me again,” Sana replied with a giggle. “She’s so cute! I demand to see her at least three times a week.”

Well .

“I don’t know-”

“How did you get your dog to jump down from the second story window anyways? It looked like she struggled to even jump off the bed.” Sana raised an eyebrow in confusion.

Tzuyu opened and closed like a fish. She had no idea how to answer that question.

“Uh…”

“Well?”

“Hey look, a distraction!” Tzuyu pointed towards a random section of Sana’s room.

“What?” Sana looked at where Tzuyu was pointing. “Did you just say distraction?” Sana looked back at Tzuyu, but she was already gone. Sana shook her head in amusement before closing her window.

“Oh, Tzuyu,” Sana sighed happily before walking out of her room. She had to make up excuses to explain to Mina why the puppy was suddenly gone.

Meanwhile, Tzuyu limped a bit as she ran home. She was able to attach herself to a tree that was near Sana’s window, but she kind of broke a branch and fell the rest of the way down.

Worth it.

Tzuyu slowed down when she saw two familiar massive dogs. They looked at her curiously, tilting their heads. She smelled familiar to them. Tzuyu walked close to them and bent down so that she was looking directly into their eyes.

“By the way, you guys smell disgusting.”

The two dogs whimpered.
