3 weeks, 2 weeks, 1 week... And the day everyone had been waiting for had finally arrived. It has been a busy day at the hotel, making sure everything was in place, going through the timetable, fending off the media... Everything was great... Peaceful... No mess at all...
But of course everything just couldn't go smoothly. 2 hours before the ceremony, Taeyeon just had to went missing. Tiffany made sure to provide some security personnel or something outside the girl's room to make sure she won't do anything stupid. But, apparently, it was inevitable. Taeyeon escaped and was found lying on the hallway about 45 minutes later. Turned out, she passed out or something.
So a very stressed out Tiffany paced around her room both in worry and annoyance. She tried her best not to touch anything to be on the safe side.
"I swear if she won't say yes, I'm going to call off this wedding for real!" Tiffany was practically screaming at her phone by now.
"You heard that Tae..."
"Give me that stupid phone!" There was some shuffling sounds and a little bit of cursing before Taeyeon finally got into the phone. "Tiffany." Her voice was the shakiest ever and so was her breathing.
"Taeyeon... please..."
"I-I'm so nervous right now and I don't think I'll make it!"
"It's okay to be nervous, baby." Tiffany tried her best to speak softly. "I'm nervous too?"
"I know. We all are... but...!"
"Okay, hear me out." She just had to cut her off before Taeyeon would start rambling.
"But...!"
"Taeyeon."
"Fine." The stern voice did its trick and Taeyeon took in a deep breath. "Go ahead. Talk."
"Taeyeon-ah, I know you're scared, nervous, excited, or whatever you're feeling right now. Believe it or not, I feel those too. It's terrible, I know." Tiffany closed her eyes as she prepared herself for what she was about to say. "You're not going to back out now. No one's going to back out now."
"But I'll just embarrass the both of us!"
"Just think about this, okay?" Another deep breath and Tiffany swore she was about to snap out. "We've come this far. We both want this. We'll live happily ever after, no matter how much you deny the fact that you believe in such thing..." She sat on the nearby chair in front of the mirror. "We'll fulfill that dream of yours of having kids..."
"Y-you..." Taeyeon tried to say more but failed miserably.
"I don't know how are we going to do it or when or..." Tiffany sighed as she was running out of words.
"Tiffany...?"
"Yeah?"
"I can't believe this..."
"What?"
"I'll probably cry later and won't be able to say a word so..." Taeyeon cleared awkwardly. "I'm going to say it now. I love you so much. I can't believe we made it this far. Words can't really express how grateful I am to have you. I-I'm just..." Her voice cracked a little as she tried not to cry. "I-I don't know what to say... It's just that... It's so crazy how you can tolerate me this much."
"Taeyeon-ah..."
"I'm just so... So happy to have you in my life..."
"Baby... please..." Tiffany tried her best not to cry as well. "You're going to make me cry and ruin my make-up." She chuckled awkwardly.
"I ruined mine. I'm so sorry."
"It's okay." She took in a deep breath and heard Taeyeon doing the same. "Just let them retouch it and no more worrying, okay?"
"Okay."
"I'll see you in a few minutes, alright?"
"Alright."
"Good."
"Hm."
"By the way..."
"Yeah?"
"I love you so much. I'm just as happy as you are to have you in my life."
