Their walk toward Lisa’s house was pretty peaceful. Rosé wasn’t losing one of her front rows teeth nor getting one of her bones misplaced due to the slightly younger girl’s rage. She just had to stand a ten pages worth of speech that Lisa blurted out in barely 20 minutes of their walk.

Rosé’s mouth kept chanting one of the magic word that she thought would defused the Thai girl’s wrath but turned out that it only added more fuel to the fire that was surrounding Lisa.

Lisa’s speech was nearing to its end when they finally reached the house that Rosé knew so damn well from the outside part but never had she lay a single step on the area passed the front gate.

That got her frozen in her place even tho the wooden gate already opened by the blonde girl.

“What are you doing there? Come in..”

Rosé stared at the girl in front of her anxiously. She’d been standing in front of Lisa’s gate a lot of time already, but this is actually her first time passing the gate that separate Lisa’s house with the outside world. She had the right to be nervous.

“Yah! Did you hear me?” Lisa said, half shouted at the puzzled Rosé that made her walked toward the blonde in fast pace.

“Is it really okay for me to come inside?” The Australian girl asked carefully as she stared at Lisa, nervousness was visible on her eyes.

A soft sigh escaped Lisa’s lips as she started back into the taller girl’s eyes, she brought both of her hands (Rosé insisted to carried all of the shopping bags because Lisa looked tired on her opinion, and Rosé didn’t take no for the answer) to cupped the ginger haired girl’s cheeks.

“Believe me, i won’t kill you once you got inside..” Lisa said seriously. There’s a brief silent before a soft laugh can be heard coming from Rosé.

Lisa winced in frowny manner when she heard the annoying laugh (according to her brain, her heart has a different opinion tho), “There’s nothing to laugh about..” Lisa’s sentence followed with Rosé shrieking in pain because Lisa’s slender fingers are strongly gripping on both of the Australian girl’s chubby cheeks.

“Doesn’t mean that I won’t kill you now, Park Chaeyoung..”

Rosé could feel her heart skip a beat when her Korean name came out from Lisa’s mouth. Her hazel eyes were pinned on Lisa’s coffee brown ones.

That was the name. The name that she hated, the name that she wished never given to her, the name that burdened her shoulders.

How did she knew about the name? Rosé was sure that she never mentioned her Korean name because that name was so wrong.

But it didn’t sounds wrong then, not even by the slightest when Lisa is the one who said it.
For the first time, Rosé felt like she would once again fall in love with that name.

“Park Chaeyoung..”

However, the painful memories behind the name was too strong. And when they came back rushed through her veins, it made her weak then everything went black for her.

Jennie has a lot of things gathered inside her mind, mostly worries and doubt. Jisoo is not just someone that she could stand beside freely before, and the fact that she is walking home with Kim Jisoo just got Jennie into reality. She is walking ‘home’ with Jisoo, and by home it is means her home, her small and wrecked home.

How could she forgot about her own poor condition? Jisoo doesn’t deserve to live like how Jennie lives her life, a messy life.

But everything is already too late to be canceled because they are now standing in front of Jennie’s little house, both of them look puzzled.

There is a sudden urge inside Jennie’s heart to just bring Jisoo back to her house then beg Jisoo’s parent to forgive their daughter and take her back into her comfort zone. But still, it was too late already. So Jennie reluctantly invited the quiet girl inside.

“It’s nothing cozy here,” Jennie said as she nervously trying to get the metal key inside the keyhole, the door would be open already if her hands are not shaking greatly, “but i hope that you can understand my situation right now since you have seen this-“

“Jennie..”

 Jennie finally able to turned the key inside the keyhole and successfully open the door. The brunette turned her head slightly to the side, her eyes catching Jisoo’s figure standing still on the same exact spot earlier.

“I can’t live here..”

The words transform into bullets that immeditely aiming toward Jennie’s heart. Jennie lost her breath for a second as the words slapped her back into the harsh reality. Jisoo will never be willing to live with her in her current condition.

“W-why..?” Jennie tried to sound as calm as she could even tho she knows that her shaking tone already betrayed her.

Jennie wait for a reply but Jisoo does not say a single thing, she just continue to bore her stare into Jennie’s eyes.

“W-what about a homestay? I know one around here and it’s not really expensive so i think i could afford you a week there-“

“Jennie don’t,” Jennie shut when she heard her name came out from Jisoo’s lips, “I don’t deserve this, i don’t deserve all of your kindness, even hell know that i don’t deserve you after all the things that i’ve said and done to you Jennie, so please don’t..”

The tears that start to pour down from the chocolate eyes only make it even more worst for Jennie. The taller brunette took a couple steps closer toward the latter before she embraces her, Jennie doesn’t even care anymore if Jisoo hears her loud hearbeats,

“Will it be nice if i color this bunny rainbow?”

“It will if you are the one who do it, you always do nice things..”

The two young girls were sitted on the bench of their school’s park, coloring pencils and crayons were scattered on the table. The both of them were busy with their art class assignment, one childish assignment. Mr. Kang, their art teacher, told them to drew whatever animal they like and then color the drawing. Simple as that.

Even tho the assignment were pretty easy, the both of them still did their best to get an A. They were just talking about their drawing until some other thing went inside Jisoo’s mind, being the talkative person who couldn’t kept things for herself, Jisoo decided to asked the sudden random question.

“How about we live together later when we are both older?” Jisoo said as she carefully putted some white on the bunny’s body on her drawing book, Jennie sitted right beside her doing the same thing , the only different was just Jennie’s had to color a puppy.

“Living together?” Jennie answered with her usual soft tone, “Like in the same house?”

Jisoo turned her head to the side to face the younger girl as she dropped the brown crayon to the table.

“Yes, we live together. It will be fun, don’t you think Jennie?”

“Of course it will be fun,” Jennie finally gave up on her drawing, leaving the brown puppy drawing that she named Kuma half colored when she turned to face Jisoo too, “but why tho?”

Jennie didn’t know what wrong thing that she said but she could tell there’s something because Jisoo was frowning.

“You said we should be together forever, that’s mean we have to live together too!”

Jennie couldn’t help but to released a soft chuckle when she heard the older’s statement, her inside was dancing happily because the older girl actually think about their future. But she couldn’t help but to felt worried about it, “Are you sure? I will not be able to afford a huge house like the one you’re living on right now tho, unnie..”

Jennie’s confidence was really low till it always became the source of her problems.

Jisoo had used to heard those kind of words came out from Jennie’s mouth tho, she heard it almost every day, and Jisoo learned that it’s one of Jennie’s habit.

Jisoo was prepared. Jennie was her other half, so she had every answer that her other half needed inside her.

“Hey Kim Jennie,” Jisoo stared at the silent girl right on her eyes before she raised her hand up to reached for Jennie’s cheek to pinched it, “I will pay for the house too! Believe me but we will do it!”

“How?”

“We will figure it out together..”

“Right,” Jennie said with much more confident in her tone. The thought of drawing their house came into Jennie’s mind that time. “together..”
