A Hard Day"Morning Jacks." Namjoon greeted Jackson like every morning. He unlocked the shop's door, swinging both sides wide open. "It's a little hot today don't you think?" He pushed down on the stoppers, making both doors stay open. Jackson nodded, turning the open sign on.
"It's hotter than yesterday, that's for sure." Jackson was ready to spend his first day inside the door in almost a month. "Drink plenty of water, Namjoon." The younger rolled his eyes.
"I'll do that." The two boys walked to the break room to get ready for the day.
-
Jackson stood at the front of the shop, feeling the slight breeze that moved through the open doors. He was stocking the bath bomb shelves. He had been working hard on the shelf that he didn't notice Namjoon staring hard at him until the younger spoke up. "You're doing a fine job." Jackson jumped, almost dropping the box of pink berry bombs.
"Aish, why would you do that?" Namjoon snorted.
"I just wanted to compliment you. Can't I do that?" Jackson narrowed his eyes, shaking his head. He put a few more bath bombs onto the shelf.
"No, that means you want something. Or you messed something up. Which one is it?" Namjoon sighed, taking the box from Jackson. The younger wanted his full attention.
"What are you, my mother? But, I might have messed up your sign." Jackson groaned, pulling the box from Namjoon's arms. He walked away from the younger, carrying the box back to the front counter.
"There's another one in the supply room. Second cabinet, top shelf." The older rolled his eys as Namjoon bowed respectfully at him before running to the supply room. "Aigoo, that boy."
-
After their first break, the shop became a lot more hectic. Whatever Namjoon was doing outside was sure helping business, but Jackson wished he would cut it out. There was only one of him inside the store and to many people asking him questions. "I'm sorry, we're out of that. I can order for you if you would like." A woman stood in front of him, holding an empty box of skin cream. She smiled at Jackson.
"That would be lovely." Jackson nodded, looking up the product on his register. He didn't really understand why she would need this particular brand of skin cream. It was used to lessen wrinkles and to him there were none present on her face. He smiled at her.
"Alright, if you'll sign your name here and leave a number we'll call you when we get the product in." She nodded, grabbing a pen from the counter. She quickly scribbled out her information.
"Thank you." Jackson nodded.
"No problem. Please come back." The bowed slightly before walking away from the counter. Jackson sighed once. He was already getting tired and it wasn't even three o'clock yet. "I can take the next customer." He called out, waving his hand shortly in the air. It was going to be a long day.
-
"Namjoon, put that sign down and come help me. There's a lot of people in here." Namjoon was happy too. Jackson was right, it was hard to flip a sign all day. He had never expected it to be like that.
"What do you need?" The younger asked, placing the green sign in the window.
"Running register. I can take the floor for a bit." Namjoon nodded. He could handle that. Jackson was better on the floor than he was. The older was known for talking and customers loved someone that could talk. The younger took his place at the register, promptly ringing up all the products that people were buying. Jackson began his work on the floor, talking to all the locals that he had seen most recently and even the out of towners curious about the new products. Things were starting to look up.

Annyeong Haseyo! If anyone is wondering about the store that Namjoon and Jackson work at its kinda like a Lush and a Sephora mixed. They sell make-up, skin care, and bath products. It was just a random idea I had, I don't really know. Anyway, Kamsahaminda! Annyeong!
