Chapter 9 – Why can’t I stop thinking about you?

Taeyeon’s POV

It was late, the sky was turning dark and all of us were sitting at the campfire forgetting about tommorows‘ game. Even though we had a guitar with us Hyoyeon our dancing queen was also DJing and giving us some beats from her phone. She then started to dance freely around the fire. Everyone’s mood became brighter and many guys who had a huge crush on the  dancing queen joint her.

The atmosphere was really great.

I was sitting alone because my bff was flirting with tthe idol again. Yeah it’s been like this from the beggining, I’m not even bothered, Fany looked happy and I was happy for her even though I was still not okay with Jessica.

After the music calmed down, we chatted a bit, told funny stories and laughed a lot, you know just like a group a really good friends.

Then Fany became loud again…

„Jessie you must sing for us“ everyone’s attention was on them now

„Noo I really don’t think it’s a good idea“

„Oh come on the idol should sing for us“ Sooyoung said

„Yeah we’d love to hear you sing“ Sunny joint

Is everybody a fan of hers or what??

Everybody started to cheer for Jessica, although she seemed shy she accepted that there’s no way out and she should please the crowd, she agreed.

Chanyeol took the guitar and asked her what song.

„Do you know Gravity?“

„Of course“

After Chan played the intro she started to sing and I swear everything stopped because I just say her, only her. She really has a lovely voice, no wonder she has a huge fanbase. I never thought her voice would be this angelic and so full of emotions.

She looked really beautiful. Beautiful?? What's wrong with you Kim Taeyeon? Pull yourself together

When the song ended she looked in my direction, I don’t know if she looked at me or something behind me, it was too dark for me to see clearly, but just the feeling that maybe, just maybe she looked at me, and only me, my heart started to beat faster, faster and faster. What's going on?

Well if she looked or not, it was just for a moment because she turned around to face Fany again and gave my best friend the sweetest smile, I’ve ever seen her give anyone, then she bowed and thanked everybody for clapping.

The next day

Jessica’s POV

Yoona woke me up early like always, somehow everybody loves to have their breakfast at 7am. I will never get used to waking up so early, but well at least my face isn’t so swolen like always when I sleep more than 10 hours.

I came into the dining room where everybody was already seated and eating happily. I saw Fany waving at me so I joint her table. It was me, Yoona, Fany and Taeyeon.

„Here, I prepared this for you“ Fany handed me a baguette

„You really didn’t have to Fany-ah“

„But I wanted to“ she gave me her eyesmile, aishh soo cute, I’ll never get over her smile

„Thank you“

I was about to bite in when Taeyeon snatched my baguette away

„What the hell?“

„Cucumbers“ she said

„Huh??“

„There are cucumbers in there“ she pointed at the baguette. She was right there were few slices of cucumber.

She handed me another baguette that she had made before I came to the table.

„Thanks“ I gave her a weak smile, because I was too surprised at her actions. She remembers my eating habits, she gave me her baguette, why does it look like she cares for me? You are really confusin
