Chapter 14 – Friends?

Yoona’s POV

Friday came, the day I am going to take Taeyeon out on a date. I’m a bit nervous, not the normal nervous you feel when your crush is smiles at you, because to be honest, I don’t think my feelings for Taeyeon are romantic yet. Yes I do wish do get over Krystal, that’s why I asked Taeyeon out in the first place. So why am I nervous you ask? Well I want it to be perfect, I want the perfect date to blind my mind so I could stop thinking about a certain Jung, I’m nervous because I am not sure if the plan will work.

Taeyeon-shi please forgive me for using you, I’ll do my best to fall for you.

After class I waited for Taeyeon at the gate. She was walking hand in hand with Tiffany-unnie as always. That cute little smile of hers could melt the world, I wish it could melt my heart.

“Taeyeon-shi”

“Oh Yoona”

“Are you ready?”

“I didn’t know you would want to go right after school”

“Oh I just wanted to spend as much time with you as possible, but if you would want to go, it’s okay…” I awkwardly said YOU PABO of course she wouldn’t want to right away

“Oh no, I’m just surprised. I’d love to go right away” she gave me the brightest smile

“Really?”

“Yes, of course”

“Then shall we” I offered her my hand and she took it, Awww her soft, warm hands – maybe this could really work

“Bye Fany-ah, get home safe”

“Bye Tiffany-unnie”

“Take care of her” Tiffany-unnie said waving at us

We walked to my car and I opened the door for her

“Uhh such a gentle-woman” that made my cheeks a bit hot, which Taeyeon noticed and smirked

“So where are we going?”

“I thought since it’s our first date let’s do the basic: cinema and dinner”

“Hmmm”

“Is that a bad idea?”

“No no it’s not, it’s just…”

“Plain?”

“I thought Im Yoona would have something more original in store”

“Oh, should we take a u-turn?”

“Only if you know some better place”

“Oh Im Yoona knows places”

We both laughed at that and I drove her to one of my favorite places.

It was a quiet thirty minutes drive, not the awkward one I promise.

“Here we are”

“Uhmm a fence?”

“Not quite” I gave her a smirk “It’s the thing behind it, come on” I took her hand and led her to the fence and then I jumped over.

“Yoona the sign says private property”

“Yeah I know, the Ims’ property”

“What?”

“My parents bought this house” I pointed at the house behind the fence

“So why are we sneaking?”

“Oh I’ll tell you later, just take my hand now”

She took my hand and I helped her climb over

“Wow”

“Told ya”

“Wow, it’s beautiful”

“Yeah, are you impressed now?”

“Hell yeah”

If you wonder what’s so amazing. Well it was just the perfect view of Seoul. It was about half past six so the sky was pretty dark now. You could see anything from here. All the lights just look like small stars and looking at them will just make you wonder if you are floating in the universe. This view will help you to forget about all your problems if not forever at least for a moment of peace.

Having fights with my parents every now and then I just go to this place and think. They are unbearable at times but buying this house made it up.

“I’ll go grab something to eat okay?”

“Yeah yeah” She said still looking at Seoul

I headed to the house, thankfully my parents didn’t change the pin lock. I grabbed some blankets, drinks and organic chips? Gosh my mum never changes, why do you even buy chips if you hate calories? Logic….

I set everything down on the grass and Taeyeon joined me.

“You should take me here more often, it’s a nice place to think”

“Yeah you’re always welcomed”

“So will you tell me why we had to sneak in?”

“It’s a bit complicated”

“I have all day you know” she gave me victorious look

“Okay fine, I didn’t want my parents to know I’m using their property and there’s a camera at the front gate.”

“A fight?”

“Yeah, remember when Sica-unnie was mad at me?”

“Wait let me think….”She paused and acted like she was focusing to remember “Duh of course” we both laughed

“Well when I was in the US I sent her letters so we could keep in touch but no letters arrived to her. My mum made sure of it”

“Wow, but why?”

“She thinks Sica-unnie is a bad influence on me”

“Well, not that I disagree but in which way?”

“Since Sica-unnie used to be poor, my parents didn’t want me to be close to people that were less to them.”

“Ohh”

“That’s why I lived with the Jungs now”

“The Jungs?”
