Before you start reading, you might want to know a little more about the characters in this story... of course as you read, you'll learn about everyone, but this might help you understand the story a little more. It may contain slight spoilers (but nothing that ruins the plot lol, just some stuff about the characters you might not know until further into the story).

Jeon Jungkook

Age: 16 [at the beginning of the story]
Nicknames: Jungkookie, Kookie, Kook
Likes: Science, especially biogenetics, reading, being alone, sports, working out, running, anime
Additional information:
-Jungkook previously lived in Busan, and was frequently bullied because of his 'pretty' face and the fact that he was a lot shorter, lankier and weaker than his classmates. He didn't have any friends
-He comes from a rich family; his parents own one of Korea's biggest hotel chains
-When Jungkook is fifteen, he develops and grows remarkably tall, and also begins working out a lot
-Jungkook is generally a shy, quiet person but gains a lot of confidence after befriend the Bangtan Boys at his new high school
-He excells in all subjects, from maths to sport, but science is his favorite
-Jungkook has a younger sister and an older brother 
-He learnt how to skateboard from Taehyung and the two board together a lot

Park Jimin

Age: 18
Nicknames: Jiminie, Chim
Likes: Dancing, learning choreography, videogames, being in the centre of attention
Additional information:
-Is hinted to have slight homophobia at the beginning of the story, but this is because of his own feelings
-Out of everyone, Jimin is closest to Yoongi. Although the two disagree a lot and Yoongi gets mad at Jimin quite often, this is because he cares about him a lot
-Jimin has anger problems, although his short temper improved at around sixteen
-He is known as being the most 'daring' one out of the Bangtan Boys, often acting recklessly
-He has been having an on/off relationship with the school's most beautiful girl, Lee Ji-Eun, although the two only felt physical attraction and not real love
-His culinary specialty is blueberry pancakes

Kim Seokjin

Age: 19
Likes: Cooking, driving at high speeds, having someone to fuss over, hosting parties
Additional information: 
-He is often a shoulder to cry on and helps the rest of the Bangtan Boys when they get into trouble
-Is fairly quiet, and picks up on things that others don't
-Seokjin is very good at reading people and telling if someone's lying
-He cares for Jungkook a lot, and often acts towards him in a 'motherly' way
-He is the only one out of the initial six Bangtan Boys that doesn't do drugs
-Seokjin is very 'wise' and often gives Jungkook advice, especially when it comes to Jimin

Min Yoongi

Age: 19
Likes: Skateboarding, listening and making music, writing lyrics, drinking, playing the piano [the others do not know about this]
Additional information:
-Yoongi had to repeat a year in school because he didn't achieve sufficient results
-When he was fourteen, he fell in love with an older boy who used him and got him into the wrong crowd
-He smokes/gets high frequently
-He is actually quite intelligent, but does not apply himself
-Yoongi's songs are often sad and embody his feelings about his past
-Does not share things with people, is a very closed person
-He sees the boy he fell in love with in Jimin, and therefore is careful to make sure that Jimin doesn't turn out to be a monster like him

Kim Namjoon

Age: 18
Likes: Rapping, math, fashion, leadership roles, spicy food
Additional information:
-Namjoon has failed his driving test twice-- a result of nearly crashing the car both times
-He holds the group together
-He is naturally intelligent, and does well in school without trying
-Is the best at talking to girls
-Namjoon is the one who eats the most of Seokjin's food
-Comes from a wealthy family, but left his parents as soon as he was legal and now lives with his friend Ji-ho

Kim Taehyung

Age: 18
Likes: Photography, getting high, thrill-seeking, skateboarding, anime, art
Additional information:
-He is the closest to Jungkook [apart from Jimin, of course] and the two spend a lot of time together
-Taehyung likes trying new things, however strange they might be
-Adores sashimi
-Is the loudest and often speaks at inappropriate times
-Can be clueless sometimes
-Has a unique perspective and way of thinking, which often means he notices important things others don't 
-Taehyung is often babied by the other members

Jung Hoseok

Age: 18
Likes: Socialising, talking to people, skateboarding, tennis
Additional information:
-Hoseok is the loudest of the group, although he knows when to keep his mouth shut and be serious
-He is one of the less hardcore drug and alcohol users
-Cracks jokes whenever, which are pretty awful but people laugh anyway
-Is known for sleeping around with people [until he gets with Taehyung, of course]
-Is probably the nicest of the group
-Suffered from an eating disorder when he was fifteen
