It was another late night at the bar for Kai. 

"Hey Chanyeol, hit me up with another drink will you?"

"Coming right up man."

The tan 22 year old gazed around the room. Warm bodies bumped against each other and strobe lights flashed across the scene making it hard to see anyone's face for too long. 

Kai got up from his stool, and joined the crowd. After a long week of work at the office, this was his relief. 

He nodded his head to the loud music and waited in anticipation as the music got closer to the .

The beat dropped and the sound increased ten-fold.

The lights and colors blurred together, nearly creating a new dimension.

He enjoyed the moment for a bit, at least until he couldn't hear any longer. Kai's eyes found Chanyeol at the bar, waving his drink at him. 

He grinned and made his way back to his friend, nearly falling over in the commotion. 

Kai grabbed for the drink, but Chanyeol dumped it out before his fingers could even reach it. 

"No more for you."

"Heyyyy."

"You should crash at my place tonight, you don't look so great right now."

"Nahh, it's okay," he said sliding of his seat. "I'll just go home."

Chanyeol watched worriedly as Kai left the club.

I hope he'll be okay.

The incident happened a year ago, but it still haunted him.

The burning flames and unbearable smoke. 

The screech of metal against metal, the windows bursting, the panicked shouts.

The hands pulling him from his burning car. 

The bodies being pulled out of the flipped car a few meters away.

It would never leave him alone.

The news paper articles following the event gave him the details of the people he had killed. 

One of them was a 19 year old boy by the name of Do, Kyungsoo. 

He was smart, graduating at the top of his class, and starting college at Harvard.

Freaking Harvard.

Of course this was all gone now, along with the kids' future. 

Not to mention his parents would never see their kid graduate college or marry the girl of his dreams. They would never see the grandchildren that would carry on their legacy.

The bitter thoughts lurked in his head.

He looked away from the year-old newspaper article, that added to the sting of what he had done.

He sat on the edge of his bed, and put his head in hands.

He was a murderer and nothing would change it.

No matter how many therapy sessions he had or the countless "it's not your faults" he received from his peers, he knew, he knew he had ended it all for that kid.
