CHAPTER 2

Kim Tae Hyung’s POV

When I walked into my new office with my friends, the first thing I did was go to my desk and sit in the leather chair. Then suddenly—

“Ah, hyung, hyung, look! My chair swirls!” I exclaimed.

“Aish… there he goes again…” said Suga hyung.

“I can see that your chair twirls, Tae,” replied Jin.

“I still don’t understand why they chose you for this position, Taehyung,” complained Jimin. “See, if I got chosen, I would be able to model all of the products. I could save so much money by not contracting models!” By the end of his little rant, Jimin was gesturing wildly with his hands.

I grinned as I twirled in my swivel chair. This new job was getting better by the minute.

“Hyung, what’s this?” asked Jungkook, our maknae. I smiled inwardly because Jungkook is the only one who calls me hyung, and it makes me sound older than I am. It was annoying that all my hyungs said that I should have been the maknae, but I really don’t think that I’m all that immature. I mean, sure, I might blank out for a little bit, but it’s just because I’m thinking deep thou—

“Hyuuung” whined Jungkook. “Are you even listening to me?”

Sigh. Interrupted as usual.

“Sorry, Kookie. What did you say?” I said, walking over to him.

“I asked what this desk was for. Isn’t that your desk over there?” Jungkook said, pointing at my desk across the room.

I wrinkled my forehead. That’s odd… I knew that I had a co-CEO, but I had no idea we would be sharing an office.

“Hold on, Kookie. Let me make a call.” I dialed former CEO Park’s number.

“Annyeonghaseo, Park Do Min speaking,”

“Ah, anneyonghaseo. This is Kim Tae Hyung. I was wondering when my co-CEO would be here.”

“My daughter? She is probably landing in Korea right now.”
