My heart was thumping madly as i slowly and silently placed the file in my polka dot back pack. I packed my bag with clothes and snacks too, just in case. It was my first time running away, (well, sort of), and i don't know how i am supposed to. Kyuhyun asked me to meet him that day, and he thought i told Si Won about it.

But I didn't. How am i supposed to tell him? He wouldn't understand. If he knew that i was going to visit my real family, he'd either stop me or follow me. And i want neither of that.

There was a miscall from Kyuhyun, signalling that he was already outside. I took my fur coat and wore my sneakers.

"Soo Jin ah, Where are you going?" Si Won asked. His eyes half closed and his upper body was bare, showing off his muscular abs. His voice unclear. I knew he was only half awake, and when he's half awake, he's not aware of the situation.

"College." I said simply."

"It's 5 in the morning." He checked the clock on the wall and pointed towards it.

"Yes... it is, and I'm late."

"Late? At 5 in the morning?" He said, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, I'm late. I'll be staying over at Tiffany's tonight, so don't worry about me."

"I always worry." Si won chuckled, patting my head. "Come back home safe." He said. I don't think he believes me, but I guess he trusts me, and that is good enough.

I went out of the house and Kyuhyun was waiting outside in his car. He smiled as I entered. "What did your brother say?" He asked, buckling the seatbelts for me. I couldn't help but to blush a little.

"He asked if you were going to me. I told him no." I laughed.

"Well, you can't be too sure." He laughed, and started to drive. I looked at him as if he was mad.

"Yah, don't have any ideas!" I warned him. He laughed again.

I ped my backpack and brought out a CD. "Mind if i play this?"

"Sure, what is it?" He asked.

"It's So Nyuh Shi Dae." I said, then inserted the CD. The first song that started to play was 'The Boys.'

"Oh I don't like them." He said.

"WHAT? Why not?"

"Nah. Not my type."

"What? They are amazing! With their long legs and everything. Look at Sooyoung, or Yoona, or Yuri or Seohyun!" I said.

"Hmm.. I like shorter girls." He laughed, then he took a quick glance at my legs.

"YAH! I'll tell Si Won oppa!" I said, smacking his shoulder really really hard.

"Ouch! YAH, I'm driving!" He said, then muttered some curse words.

"Wow, you're cursing now?" I glared at him. "Yeeesh." How could I ever thought for one second that this dude beside me could possibly be nice? Even for a day, he couldn't. Well, minutes later i started to doze off.

"Mannyageh~ Naega gandamyeon." I heard Kyuhyun sing. I yawned, stretching my arms as i just woke up from my nap. He stopped singing when he realized i was already awake.

"Isn't this So Nyuh Shi Dae?" I asked.

"Yeah." He shyly said, then turned off the radio. I laughed like crazy for the next 5 minutes, seeing him blush. "This is a song by their leader. I'm a fan of her."

"I thought you don't like them."

"I didn't say i don't like them."

"You did. Pabo yah." I giggled. I looked outside the window to see where we were. "Are we here already?"

"Almost."

We arrived at a restaurant that belonged to my birth parents. There weren't many people in that area, only a few customers, and outside there was a girl who looked almost exactly like me, sweeping the floor.

"Annyeonghasaeyo." I bowed, and so did Kyuhyun.

"Yes?"

"We're searching for Jang Ri Eun and Kim Ho Seung." I stuttered, looking at the file that i brought along with me. She looked at me as if i was crazy, but then shouted

"Appa! Someone's searching for you."

I knew she was my sister. Then an old man probably in his mid 50s, with a half bald head, wearing a worn out t-shirt and an apron came out, as if confused, he looked at us. "I will pay back the money! I promise! Not now... we're still--"

Kyuhyun looked at me in worry. I calmly said "We're not here to take money from you... Umm... is there anywhere we can talk in private?"

He brought us to a room at the back of the restaurant. It was stuffy, full of boxes and dusts, but it was okay. I took a seat and they both (Kyuhyun and my dad) did too.

"Where's Jang Ri Eun?" I asked.

He gave me a look the same way that my sister did. He thought i was crazy at first, but then he sighed, staring at the cold floor, looking regretful. "They both have left us long ago."

"They?" I asked.

"My wife was involved in a car accident with my daughter, Kim Taeyeon. It happened long ago. We still have not found Kim Taeyeon's body yet, but there's no way now."

I almost choked in tears. "Appa." I said, my lips were trembling, syncing with my heartbeat. Kyuhyun grabbed my hand. My dad looked at me, without any words leaving his mouth.

"Appa..." i repeated, this time, more tears were coming out.
