Mark Tuan was probably the most envied guy in Seoul International High School. He had a wonderful family, the best team of brothers, good grades, the position of shooting guard on the school's basketball team. He was the perfect gentleman and he lived in America for fifteen years before he moved to Korea with his family. He was what every guy admired to be, but to most people's surprise, Mark had no girlfriend and neither did he show any interest in dating.

"I still don't get why you aren't dating anyone yet. I get that you don't want to make such a big commitment now but you could at least open up a little and make more female friends." Spoke his best friend, Jackson Wang.

Mark simply shrugged Jackson's worry off, as the two best friends walked towards their lockers. "The right person just hasn't surfaced yet."

"I'm starting to think that you have pretty high expectations, even though I know your ideal type." Said Jackson.

Mark simply shrugged just as the locker beside his opened. Jackson stepped out of the way in surprise and a petite girl started taking her things out of her locker.

"Good morning, Airin." Greeted Jackson, realising that it was his classmate.

Song Airin was the secretary of the student council, and a fellow American just like Mark. She was also classmates with Jackson.

"I didn't know that this was your locker." Spoke Jackson.

"I changed lockers last Friday, they are renovating the old classroom block starting next week, so we had to move out." Replied Airin.

"I see. Have you met Mark?" Asked Jackson, gesturing to Mark.

"Not really, but his name comes up almost everywhere." Shrugged Airin.

"That's true." Snorted Jackson.

"But it's not as if your name doesn't come up everywhere either Jackson." Said Airin.

Jackson burst out in laughter before he high-fived Airin who couldn't help but shake her head in amusement. It was then that the two classmates heard a cough and the two switched their gaze to Mark who was clearing his throat.

"Oh right, the two of you haven't met officially yet. Mark, meet Airin. Airin meet Mark." Said Jackson, doing the official introductions.

"It's nice to meet you, Mark." Spoke Airin, with a smile.

"Same here." Nodded Mark, his eyes not leaving the girl's figure.

"I have to get going, the student council is always busy. I'll see you in class, Jackson. I'll see you around sometime, Mark." Said Airin, with a smile.
