Baek Hanuel was absolutely ecstatic about returning to Korea in nearly three years. 

Hanuel was from the States, specifically Florida. She was born and raised there but she moved to LA to live with her uncle and his family when she was 10, a year after her father passed away in an accident. And her mother remarried when she was 15, and she has been living with her uncle's family ever since her mother moved back to Korea with her stepfather when she was 18. 

Hanuel checked her phone for the time before she smiled at the lock screen which was a picture of her and her boyfriend, Brian Kang. The photo was taken almost two years ago when Brian came to the states for a school trip. They met up during one of Brian's free days and they went on a date together. 

Brian and Hanuel met when they when Hanuel was 18 and Brian was 19. How they met was all due to Park Jaehyung, Hanuel's cousin and Brian's friend. Jaehyung had gotten lost in Seoul during his first trip to Korea in ten years due to his self-admittedly poor Korean reading skills. Luckily, Brian who was from Canada, and could speak English and he helped Jaehyung find his way around Seoul. Hanuel arrived in Korea a week after Jaehyung, and the latter dragged Brian to the airport so that they could pick up Hanuel. 

It was love at first sight for both Hanuel and Brian. Hanuel could vividly remember the first time she met Brian. She had tripped on her own feet while following behind Brian and Jaehyung. Not only that, she had literally embarrassed herself over the next few days whenever Brian came over. But Brian found her cute,
