Settled

He moved his fingers down her shoulder, all the way to her waist and then down her back. He never thought he would have the chance to just stand next to her like this, to enjoy the view of her body and just lean closer to press a kiss on her smooth skin. He had imagined about it but he had never thought it would turn into reality. Her snuggling closer to him, wrapping her arms around him as she pressed her head against his chest made him smile widely and brush his fingers through her hair.

“’Morning...” she spoke in a soft voice, her voice sounding rough because of the early morning.

“Good morning, Jihye.” He spoke as well, his voice sounding husky.

She cuddled even closer to him, her fingers pressing against his chest as her lips began moving lower down his chest to his navel, her body moving a bit to the side in the process. She tried stretching her body, her legs meeting his under the blanket and then crossing with his while her hand moved lower and lower.

“What are you doing?” he asked as his voice almost cracked, his body tensing a little.

“Dealing with morning...” she answered with a grin, moving her body upwards so she could give him a kiss. “Do you mind?” she asked as she moved her lips against his, then to the side and down his neck, whispering in his ear.

“No. But classes are supposed to restart today.” He made sure to mention, his eyes closing under the pleasant touch of her hands.

She raised her head and looked to the side, glancing at the alarm clock he had on the nightstand. It was still early with a few hours remaining until the first class. She was pretty sure they both had about the same classes today since there were joint one between majors so she was also positive they had enough time to reach across campus to the university body.

“Half an hour.” She giggled against his ear, moving her leg to the other side of his body, straddling him before he could say anything else.

“Make it an hour.” He quickly changed his mind, diving his fingers in her hair, his lips attacking her neck.

And that was how they actually ran out of time, having to move quickly within their apartments to get their clothing and wash. He had suggested they shower in his apartment but she was pretty sure they’d end up being even late.

With 10 minutes left until the start of classes, Kyuhyun found himself taking her hand and running down the stairs together to reach the parking lot and get inside the car. They both turned to face each other once he parked the car outside the main study hall, checking to see if they looked right.

“We can’t hold hands...” Jihye spoke as she glanced towards their locked fingers.

“Why not?” he asked with a frown, not liking one bit how she removed her hands from his the moment they got out of the car.

“I have someone to talk to first...” she mentioned as she moved past Kyuhyun, running inside the building.

He hated this. Now that he got her and they were together, he couldn’t stand not being able to hold her hands and let people know she was his. So he followed her, thinking she should have him by her side when she talked to her still boyfriend. Both of them were going to skip the first class so he just followed her as she met up with him.

He could see the guy getting angry, closing his eyes and hands into fists, looking towards her with anger in his eyes. In the end, Kyuhyun moved closer to her, keeping enough distance to not annoy the guy. He gulped as the dude moved closer to him and closed his eyes as he was expecting the punch. He lost his balance the moment his face met with a fist and then gasped a bit when the other pulled him up by the collar to punch him again.

“She is going to ruin herself because of you. But that’s not my business anymore.” The guy hissed as he punched Kyuhyun again and then pushed him down on the floor, moving past him.

“Are you okay?” Jihye ran towards Kyuhyun, helping him out and checking his face since the corner of his mouth was now bleeding since the punches left him with a cut.

“I expected that. Maybe I should train to be able to fight back.” He joked around a little, using his thumb to clean away a bit of the blood gathered in the corner of his mouth.

“Aww...” she pouted a little, moving her lips closer to his. “I’ll kiss and make it better.” She smiled against his lips, her arms wrapping around his body.

“It hurts over here too...” he pouted and pointed towards the other corner of his mouth.

She complied and kissed him there as well. Then he pointed at his forehead and while she knew it was a lie, she cupped his face and pressed her lips against his forehead. And he continued doing so, pointing to all sort of places while she just let out small chuckles and proceeded to kiss him.

By the time she had kissed almost all parts of his face, he was holding her inside his arms and carried the biggest grin ever on his face. Now this was much better. He had never thought he would turn this jealous. He had often been pissed about her boyfriends but then she wasn’t his but now she was so he was more than happy that he could just take her hand in his, kiss her and hold her in his arms.

“You were upset I didn’t held you hand?” she asked as she gave small pecks against his lips, moving her hands down his back as well.

“I hated it. Never do it again.” He nodded and then moved his hand to cup her face, leaning in for a kiss.

“Kyuhyun-ah....” she spoke as she moved her head a further away so he couldn’t kiss her.

“Hm?” he asked with another small frown, not happy to see her refusing his kiss.

She blushed a little and then hit the tip of her foot against the floor while looking down, biting slightly against the left part of her lower lip. She had never thought she’d end up in a situation where her boyfriend would be Kyuhyun.  He said he loved her and his eyes had looked so sincere but she had refused to say the words back because she was still dating someone.

“Last night I cheated on my ex-boyfriend.” She spoke in a soft voice, leaning her head against his shoulder as he patted her head.  “I’m not like that usually.” She spoke as she held tightly to him.

“I know. It’s part my fault as well.” he let out a smile and kissed the side of her head.

“There is only one reason I did it...” she spoke as she took in some air. “I love you, Kyuhyun-ah.”

She planned to say those words and then make a run for it, too embarrassed at herself. She had never imagined she would confess such a thing, not to him. She had never said those words, even finding it hard to tell them to her own parents. So she was red as a tomato once she said that and prepared to make a run for it but it didn’t happen. The moment she got past him, he used his hands and pulled her back, crashing his lips against hers.

“I love you, Jihye.” He spoke against her lips, smiling at the redness of her cheeks.

They both forgot people were going to enter and head towards their own classrooms. He only cared about her lips and the feeling of her body against his and she got lost in the feeling of his fingers against her skin and the softness of his lips.

“Oh my god!”

They flinched and jumped while turning around to face the sound of the loud voice. They had just been caught red handed by their friends and looking at the expression they had on their faces, they couldn’t help but get shy and try to run away from it.

“What is this? How did this happen? Didn’t you have a boyfriend?!” Donghae asked with excitement as he moved behind them, planning to block their path so that they couldn’t run away.

“You two were kissing. And kissing as in kissing on the lips. A kiss. Wow....” Hyukjae spoke as he stopped in front of them, perfectly blocking the two from leaving.

“Yeah, yeah... now get out of here.” Kyuhyun tried to get them to move to the side, his hand casually searching for hers and taking it in his so that he could elad both of them away from the meddling pair.

“Oh, no. No no no....” Hyukjae refused and gave Donghae a sign to immobilize Kyuhyun.

Jihye couldn’t help but laugh. Kyuhyun wasn’t the most athletic person on the planet and it was actually quite easy to trap him. Donghae loved to exercise and even built up quite an upper body and Kyuhyun stand no chance.

“We have classes...” Kyuhyun tried to reason with them but it was pointless because the two had started dragging him away, Jihye following from behind since Hyukjae had caught her as well by placing his hand around her neck.

“This is more important than classes.” Donghae spoke and then opened the door to one of the janitor closets.

“People will think you are bullying us. Hae... let go!” Kyuhyun frowned and tried to move away but only ended up pressing himself against the wall and covering his private part since he knew Donghae had the habit of hitting in really awkward places when he was amused.

“Not until you tell us everything.” Hyukjae grinned and then allowed Jihye to move next to Kyuhyun.

“Gangsters...” Kyuhyun muttered under his breath but he was obviously not that upset since his hand reached for Jihye’s once more and then locked them together.

“Alright. Spill it out. How did this happen?” Hyukjae asked as he crossed his arms.

“It just did.” Kyuhyun glared at the two of them though he knew he would have to tell them what was going on otherwise the two were more than capable of locking them inside the closet.

“We had a moment of honesty with each other and he confessed so now we are together.” Jihye spoke, knowing very well that dragging this further was just going to make them feel even more awkward than before.

“And your boyfriend?” Donghae asked confused.

“He is my boyfriend.” She pointed towards Kyuhyun, using the same hand that was locked with his to point towards him.

“This is amazing. Biggest news ever.” Hyukjae clapped his hands and then gave Donghae a hug.

“I know. I thought they’ll end up dying before they confess.” Donghae agreed and returned the hug.

“Or that we’ll end up going to their weddings and see each of them crying their hearts out.” Hyukjae added and then pressed a kiss against Donghae’s lips.

“They have finally returned to their senses!” Donghae jumped excitedly a bit before calming down and returning the kiss.

“Are you using us dating as an excuse to make out?” Kyuhyun asked, partially amused by what was happening.

“We can finally go on double dates!”  Donghae spoke with excitement and then moved to give Kyuhyun and Jihye a tight hug.

“Congratulations, my friends!” Hyukjae was next to give the two of them a hug. “I am glad you two finally came to your senses!” he added as he pressed a kiss against each of their cheeks.

“What is that supposed to mean?” Kyuhyun asked , now partially amused by the entire situation.

They were in a janitor closet, backed against the wall while their two friends were behaving like children, congratulating and jumping around, kissing them on the cheek and then each other on the mouth. It was silly and something he had never imagined it would happen to him. It was even more amusing since Jihye was trying to hold back her laughter and kept trying to hide her face against Kyuhyun’s shoulder so she wouldn’t end up laughing too hard.

“Come on. You’ve been having the hots for her since high school. You almost ..and do forgive me for saying this.” Hyukjae took the moment to bow his head towards Jihye. “You almost ed her with her eyes. I first thought it was your hormones spiking but then Jihye started becoming weird too.” He added.

“We initially thought you two had and got awkward with each other but as the time passed, we realized you two were in love with each other but completely oblivious.” Donghae let out a sigh of relief and then gave Hyukjae one big hug.

“So you were hot for me since highschool, ei?” Jihye gave Kyuhyun a glance and then gave him a small nudge to the shoulder.

“I already told you that.” He tried to hide his face and keep his shyness hidden.

“He is blushing.” All three of them spoke and chuckled while pointing towards Kyuhyun.

“Yeah, yeah... tease me if that makes you feel better.” He finally gave in, glaring a bit towards the two guys, placing his arm behind her back to draw her closer to his body.

“It’s good that you guys are here too.” Jihye spoke in a more serious tone. “We still have something to settle.” She spoke as she began moving towards the door, making Kyuhyun follow her, leaving the guys with no other option but to follow her as well.
