He glanced towards her, checking what she was doing while in his apartment. She had banned him from working on both of his thesis but she had gone a bit overboard with telling him to stay in bed, eat proper food and cut off internet. First of all, because he couldn’t do all that. He didn’t have anything against lazing around and all but he needed to search some things online and for that he needed access to his computer.
He pouted and placed his chin over his palms, letting out a sigh as he looked towards her. He didn’t have time to just stand around and not do anything. He had too little to work with and without knowing when, since two months had passed since the last vision, and he had to make sure she would stay close by though not too close either.
“Don’t pout...” she spoke as she placed a pot of food in front of him.
“I’m not sick...” he mumbled as he stood with his back straight and looked at her.
“The doctor said you over worked yourself.” She reminded him, preparing the chopsticks and spoon needed so he could eat.
That was another curious thing. How did the doctor reach such a conclusion? He wasn’t going to doubt the words of a doctor but if whatever he had was going to resemble fainting because of being too tired, then it was probably somewhat connected to stress. People that worked too much built in a lot of stress and while their bodies couldn’t take it anymore, their minds couldn’t either. Stress related thing... could it have been the trigger of the visions?
Every single time he had the vision he had been worried and stressed, so maybe it was that. But even so, he no longer had the time to worry about that. It didn’t matter anymore why he was having those visions, what he had done inside the lab or why they happened, when they happened. The point was that every single vision he had so far had been under his control more or less.
The pattern had been obviously about her being in danger and his newest vision confirmed that. That left with only one other question: could he control or it not? He had too little to work with so what if he couldn’t control it?
“Sit...” he pouted as he pointed to his knee.
She shook her head and then moved closer to him, not sitting on his knee but next to him. He was giving her a lost child type of look and she knew that was simply a play pretend so she would feel bad and be sweet to him. Then again, he didn’t have to do that because she was more than willing to kiss him and hug him.
“Behave and I will spend the night over.” She spoke before leaning in to press a kiss against his lips.
“Thought you said I need to rest. I won’t rest with you here.” He chuckled a little, wanting to catch her between his arms.
“Then we are on the same page. I’m not staying.” She smirked as she kissed him again.
“You are a tease.” He pouted. “And I who thought I’d share a hint on what might make the perfect human robot.” He smirked and then took a spoon full of the soup.
He got her interest. He was sure it would have her look at him with serious curiosity since her desire to create the perfect humanoid had been a childhood dream. It was also going to keep her busy by researching and checking to see if his words made sense. She arranged her shirt and then looked towards him with excitement, putting on a very lovely smile. He ignored her a bit more, waiting for her to press her chin against his shoulder to convince him.
His eyebrows rose in surprise when he felt a hand on his thigh, moving up and down, threatening to move properly between his legs. Ah, he had already lost. She had turned the teasing back at him and he knew that not telling her now meant she was going to turn him on and then abandon him. Putting the spoon back on the table, he turned to look at her.
“Nanos.” He spoke, watching her eyes narrowing at him. “Combined they can create the looks of a human body. They are more fluid than wires, metal and anything else used in robots. Also, nano robots are a reality and it has been proven nanos can carry immense amount of information and even algorithms for making decisions.” He smiled as he leaned to place another kiss on her lips.
“Each nano can behave like a body cell. With the proper algorithm, they could work together keep a shape and send information towards a central place.” She spoke after accepting his kiss, looking to the side as she processed the rest of the information.
“And you don’t need a grand central place either....” he continued.
“Because a group of interconnected nanos can do that.” She finished his sentence. “You’re right!! If we find out how to work with nanos so that they can work together in perfect balance.... they will be as fluid as the body.” She clapped her hands excitedly.
“The only problem is the cover.” He shrugged his shoulders.
“Kyu...” she hesitated a little. “Can I ...” she her lips nervously.
“Yes, go.” He chuckled a little.
“No...not that.” She shook her head in denial.
“What then?” he looked seriously confused, turning his head to the side to look at her.
“I’m kind of .” She blushed and then pressed her forehead against his arm.
He chuckled, kissing the side of her head as he wrapped his arms around her. She was probably the only girl on the planet to be by smart comments. Thankfully, he was also the type to get excited when she helped him out with his experiments. Maybe he could check on the details the following day and not right now.
After all, nothing was going to happen to her as long as she stayed inside his bed, in his arms, against his body. So he kissed her and began ing her shirt, planning to let himself go for one night. Nothing was going to happen while inside the house. He had to worry about what could happen outside the house and she lacked one important thing to make the vision true.
Waking up in the morning, he made sure to properly kiss her in the morning and go with her to her apartment before he returned to his own. Showering and then dressing up, he took out a white paper and a pen and began writing the things that he could remember down.
Lights. Lots of lights that could be either street lights or other car lights.
Dark. It was dark and a lot of lights which probably meant something happening after night fall or during the late evening.
With those many lights, it could have been someone downtown or in the center, or a very populated street. But if it would have been a populated street or neighborhood, he would have seen more lights. Those lights that belonged to buildings and would usually blink constantly, he had not seen any of those. So no. It was not a populated street or at least not a street with a lot of buildings around.
The scratches on the windshield... were they because of dried rain or was it dust? Was it going to be during a rainy day? It could have explained why the lights seemed blurry. Maybe they weren’t blurry because of the vision but because of the rain.
