Chapter 14: We'll Beat Him Up.

January 5th, 7:02am.

Youngjae finally arrived back to Got7's shared dorm. Although he had spent 4 days with his precious family it still felt not enough. Of course it would, it was his first time seeing his niece and nephew, along with his parents and siblings in almost 7 months. And these 4 days spent with family were literally nothing compared to the 210+ days spent without them. Nonetheless, Youngjae felt grateful that he could at least spend the first few days of the new year with the people he loved the most. But it still felt sad that he wouldn't see them for god knows how long.

When Youngjae arrived, there were only Mark, Coco and Got7's manager at the dorm. Mark, with nothing to do, was sleeping, while their manager was in his room watching TV. So the only one who greeted Youngjae was the one and only, Youngjae and Mark's cute pet - Coco. Coco was obviously very excited to see him, as she ran up to him and started to climb up to him.

"Aww, you've really missed your dad, didn't you? Don't worry, daddy's now home and probably won't leave in quite a few months." - Youngjae muttered, still not being able to cope with the very sad reality of an idol. Youngjae took the excited puppy into his hands and made his way to his room, which was at the moment empty. Jaebum was still at his parents' house, having the time of his life with his daughter - Nora.

"How you've been doing without me?" - Youngjae jokingly asked Jaebum through a phone.

"I'm very fine actually. I got to see Nora, so I'm extremely happy." - Jaebum replied, without hesitating for even a moment.

"I'm happy then." - Youngjae bitterly replied and couldn't believe himself for being jaelous over a cat.

"But seriously, Nora has become ever cuter than the last time I've seen her. And she hasn't left my side ever since I got here." - Jaebum bragged, patting his cat.

"Why don't you just marry her?" - Youngjae made a sarcastic remark out of jealousy, that made Jaebum laugh.

"Choi Young Jae, woah, I never thought you'd be the one to get jealous of a cat." - Jaebum teased his boyfriend, still not being able to stop laughing.

"Oh I'm not jealous. I have a pet, too. And to be honest, hyung, Coco's cuter than Nora." - Youngjae confidently stated.

"Take that back." - Jaebum sounded serious and scary. One thing that made Jaebum really angry was bashing his sweet child. He could literally kill a person for saying something negative about Nora.

"Okay, hyung, don't kill me. I'm sorry, I realize I stepped over the line." - Youngjae quickly apologized sincerely. Jaebum burst out with laughter again.

"Jae, you're too innocent. Ahh, anyway although Nora's the cutest thing ever, you're just a little bit cuter." - Jaebum admitted, and even through the phone you could just feel Jaebum's embarrassment. Youngjae too felt the secondhand embarrassment. Why is this weird hyung trying to be cheeky again?

"Okay hyung, we're going to have dinner now. Bye. Love you." - Youngjae quickly hung up, suddenly feeling really awkward.

Youngjae let Coco go as he entered his room and needed to unpack his luggage and change into something comfortable. While he was changing his pants a sudden thought hit him hard. It was Jaebum's birthday the next day. Youngjae with all the stress from performing three nights in a row and also with the excitement from seeing his family had completely forgotten about his leader's birthday. What in the was he going to do? He definitely had to think of something special, as Jaebum always made sure that Youngjae had the most amazing birthday every since he joined the Got7 team.

September 17th, 2015.

Youngjae wake up to a loud noise. Youngjae wanted to ignore the noise so much, but he couldn't as it was too loud, a bit too loud for Youngjae to handle. Youngjae couldn't exactly tell what the noise was, all he could make out was that it was definitely a song and it was being played near, really near.

"Jaebum hyung, please turn off the music." - Youngjae whined, still not fully awake yet.

"Hyung, please." - Youngjae muttered again, covering his ears with his pillow, soon the song got louder, so that Youngjae could now tell that it wasn't a song that was being played off of a phone, but it was being sung by people.

"Please stop. Please." - Youngjae muttered, still not waking up.

"I'll be up in five minutes. Please, I promise." - Youngjae begged, still covering his ears.

"Ahh, Youngjae hyung! You have to wake up right now! Come on!" - Yugyeom's loud voice interrupted the singing and a few second later Youngjae was being shaken awake by the giant maknae. Youngjae was forced to sit up and as soon as he opened his eyes he saw six people standing in front of his bed, all smiling.

"Guys, quit smiling. That's creepy." - Youngjae said, rubbing his eyes. Youngjae also noticed that Jaebum was standing in the middle holding a cake.

"Happy birthday to you!" - the crowd of six started to sing, which is what they've been singing for 10 minutes straight, trying to wake up Youngjae. But they had forgotten that Youngjae had the most amazing ability much like a super power, to sleep through anything.

"Oh it was you guys' singing that I've been hearing?" - Youngjae questioned after they finished, receiving eye rolls from everyone, except for the leader, who instead started to laugh.

"Youngjae, you would probably sleep through the end of the world." - Jaebum muttered in between his laughter.

"Okay, okay. Let's do the thing now, guys!" - Jackson announced, smirking down the poor defenseless member, who still remained in his pajamas. In a matter of seconds, Youngjae's face was forcefully buried in the cake and all six remaining members were dying from laughing too much.

"Oh woah guys, how original." - Youngjae's sarcastic side made a comeback, while glaring at the members, who were currently on the floor holding their stomach and still laughing.

Soon enough, Got7 left their dorm to go to the infamous JYP building to practice for their upcoming comeback. As soon as they arrived, 3 banners could be spotted on the front doors of the building, wishing Youngjae a happy birthday and almost hundreds of boxes that were addressed to Youngjae. The boxes were very fancily wrapped with luxurious material and were quite huge in size.

"Wow, Choi Youngjae, the main vocalist. Aren't you getting a bit too popular. Leave us, the ugly men, some fans as well, Youngjae master-nim!" - Jackson joked, seeing all the birthday wishes and presents for Youngjae. Youngjae just smiled shyly, hitting Jackson a few times out of embarrassment.

"Youngjae deserves the fans." - Jaebum came to Youngjae's defense, putting his arms around Youngjae's shoulders.

"Happy birthday, Youngjae." - Jaebum whispered into his ear, while still holding him. Youngjae smiled brightly and thanked his hyung, as he remembered Bambam's words earlier about how Jaebum made all of them get up way to early in the morning to wish him a happy birthday. Although Jaebum seemed like the one who wouldn't exactly care about one's birthday, in reality Jaebum was the one who always planned special cute small surprises for s' birthdays. Even last year, while they were all busy filming their online drama, Jaebum got off set to buy Youngjae the best cake he could find and made sure to celebrate his birthday gracefully.

Got7 spent all day at the practice room, rehearsing their new complicated new dance again and again. Every member was working hard, trying to perfect every move, trying to become the best. It was already quite late when they finished up everything and were ready to head home. Youngjae was heading towards the exit when Mark stopped him.

"Youngjae, I know it's your birthday, but can you stay with me for a little while. I still have to practice a few moves." - Mark pleaded, grabbing Youngjae's hand. Mark knew for a fact that Youngjae was too innocent and kind to refuse and that it won't take him too much to convince into staying.

"Also Jin, can you also stay? You can coach us!" - Mark suggested. Jinyoung turned around and smiled, intending that he would stay.

"Okay, hyung, sure. I actually need to work on the footwork, as well." - Youngjae said putting down his bag and getting ready to practice some more.

After about an hour the three of them were worn out and ready to go home. Youngjae was especially exhausted from repeating one dance move over and over again without stopping to even drink some water.

"Ah, I want my bed right now." - Youngjae whined, getting into the van.

"Me too." - Mark agreed, taking his seat in the front and immediately closing his eyes from exhaustion.

When they entered the dorm, it was dark and quiet, as if no one was there.

"Did everyone already go to sleep?" - Youngjae muttered, taking off his shoes and moving towards his room. Then suddenly the lights and a big crowd of people screamed out his name. Youngjae screamed himself in fright and shock, making everyone laugh. In the living room s were standing, along with the staff.

"What is going on?" - Youngjae asked, a bit afraid of getting any closer to the people standing in the living room.

"It's your birthday party!" - Jaebum yelled, walking over to him and putting on a party hat in his head, that was similar to everyone else's hats.

"Woah." - Youngjae was amused and amazed at the same time.

"When did you guys have the time to decorate the apartment?" - Youngjae asked, looking through the dorm, that was covered with celebratory paper and other party stuff.

"While Mark and Jinyoung were distracting you in the practice room." - Jaebum answered, very proudly.

"Did you plan all of this, hyung?" - Youngjae asked. He just adored how much attention Jaebum paid to these little stuff, like their birthdays or certain small anniversaries.

"Nah, it was a team effort." - Jaebum shyly replied. Youngjae just quietly hugged Jaebum.

Youngjae walked over to the fancy table that was in the living. The table was filled with all kinds of food that Youngjae loved. And in the middle there was a cake with Youngjae's face on it.

"Jaebum hyung baked the cake himself. He woke up extra early this morning and baked it." - Yugyeom quietly mumbled, while standing next to Youngjae. Youngjae couldn't help but grin widely. While Youngjae was in his bed sleeping oblivious of what was going on, Jaebum was in the kitchen struggling to bake his first ever cake.

"It took him over 2 hours." - Yugeyom whispered and then left to join Jinyoung and Bambam who were having a some type of dance battle.

Youngjae smiled and walked over to Jaebum, who was standing at the side, quietly observing everything and making sure everyone was happy and satisfied.

"Thanks, hyung. This means a lot." - Youngjae whispered, making sure only Jaebum heard him. Jaebum looked at Youngjae, a bit confused about Youngjae's sudden gratitude. In the meantime, Youngjae wrapped his arms around Jaebum and hugged him tightly.

"Seriously, hyung, what would I do without you?" - Youngjae whispered, still holding Jaebum in his arms.

It was really late when the party ended and the boys all went to sleep, feeling as soon as it ended, except for Youngjae. While everyone else went to sleep, Youngjae stayed behind to open his gifts. He comfortably sat on the living room floor in front of the huge pile presents and letters. Youngjae went through every single gift, carefully opening them and making sure to use every single one of the gifts. He was already halfway through the gifts when a box wrapped a bit differently than the others caught his eye. It was a medium sized box, wrapped in red paper. Youngjae checked if there was the senders' name anywhere on the box, but after finding nothing other than the words 'to youngjae' he finally opened the box. A white envelope caught Youngjae's attention almost immediately. He quickly opened it up and found a letter inside it.
"Youngjae-ah, it's Jaebumie. First of all, happy birthday, dear roommate. I'm happy you're an actual adult now. And here's a letter filled with nice words.
The first thing I want to tell you is that you are a literal ray of sunshine. I honestly can't think of an another word to describe you. You are always smiling, laughing and cheerful and happy, making sure everyone else is also having a good time and constantly assuring everyone around you that you are okay nevertheless whether you actually are or not.
Secondly, your voice. You have a very calming and soothing voice that makes everyone fall in love with you, male or female. Plus you have the softest set of eyes that give out the safest vibes. You are honestly one of a kind. I don't think I've ever met a person like you before.
When you first joined our team, I could hardly even imagine becoming as close with you as we are at the moment or even you becoming someone so special and precious in our team. To be honest, I was even a bit bitter about you debuting with us, because you were a trainee for such a short period and the rest of us had to work our butts off. Haha. I was a fool, I admit. But as time passed by, I discovered your very beautiful personality along with your brilliant talent. I finally understood why JYP PD let someone with so little training join our band.

I mentioned earlier, you have a great personality. You were given the ability to listen and to truly care, while doing so. Whenever I'm talking you just listen without interrupting me. You take in all of my anger and stress like a cute little sponge, which is why i like you so much probably. Haha.

You are patient, kind, funny at times and on top of all that very hardworking. Seeing you practice the moves to "Girls Girls Girls" made me respect you so much. I still remember those late night practices with you, when we both would stay in the practice room until 4-5am, practicing every move a few hundred times. You weren't arrogant because of joining the group with so little training, instead you were nervous and humble, trying your best to fit in with us.
and lastly Youngjae, I know how you're always grinning with that special grin of yours, which lights up the room but sometimes when you're not okay, you gotta just let the smile go and be not okay. Because being not okay is totally okay. Everyone feels sad and depressed at some point of their lives. That's just how life is.
So please stop suffering alone at those times. Okay? You can come to me whenever you feel like crap, I swear with everything I've got that i will try my best to make you feel better. I'll try my hardest to be your cute little sponge.
Happy birthday, dear main vocalist!
-jaebum."
Youngjae just sat there and smiled, too dumbfounded to think or to speak or to do anything other than to stare at the piece of paper with Jaebum's writing all over it.
No one actually knew how hard it's been to be in Got7 exactly, other than Youngjae himself. He was the last one to join the band, also the one who spent the least time being a trainee, so he obviously lacked a lot of skills that took to be an idol. Plus he didn't have a person that was his age in the team, everyone was either older or younger than him. So within these three of years of being a JYP artist, including his trainee days, Youngjae had mastered the art of looking perfectly fine and not showing his emotions, so that he could just blend in.

On top of all that becoming a trainee was one thing and then joining a group that was going to debut soon was a completely different thing. At least while being a trainee, he still could go home frequently and see his parents, but debuting required him to kind of just forget his family for a while. And because of that and also because it was his first time leaving home and living on his time, Youngjae felt incredibly lonely. He missed Mokpo, he missed his parents, his friends, even his annoying classmates.
But reading Jaebum's words made Youngjae realize that he wasn't in fact alone. He had wonderful six guys along with their staff behind him, supporting his every move. And for the first time in a few years, Youngjae felt really really really happy, he felt genuinely happy. So happy as if he had just won the Grammy's or just like he had been elected as the world's president.
With a wide grin on his face, Youngjae quickly checked the box and found another gift. A small box also wrapped in red fancy paper. He quickly ripped the paper, excited to see his second gift from Jaebum. It was a pair of really expensive earphones, the kind that youngjae's been dying to get. And there was a small note on the box that read: "use them well."

Youngjae smiled ever wider and brighter, which was apparently still possible.
"I will, hyung" - Youngjae whispered, holding the set of earphones closer to himself.

"Oh Mark hyung, you're awake." - Youngjae said, entering the living room. Mark was currently on the couch, already losing a game he'd been playing for only a few minutes.

"Youngjae, help me out here. I'm losing." - Mark pleaded, handing him the controller. Youngjae took a sit besides Mark and started to play the game, he'd already played over 10 times. A few seconds in to the game and Youngjae was already pretty close to winning. Mark was just sitting there, amazed at how good Youngjae was.

"Hyung, what are we going to do for Jaebum hyung's birthday." - Youngjae brought up the main problem of the day.

"I don't know. Aren't you supposed to be the one planning everything, 'cause you know you guys are..." - Mark paused and Youngjae glared at him, waiting for him to finish his sentence.

"Roommates." - Youngjae finished it for him, not wanting to start a whole thing about Jaebum and Youngjae's supposed 'relationship' as Yugyeom said a few days ago while discussing how the two were with each other.

"Yeah. Anyway, I talked to him this morning and he said he wasn't going to be here the first half of the day, so he said we don't need to bother with a party or something like that." - Mark said, watching Youngjae ace the game closely.

"But I think he still is expecting at least a cake. I mean anyone would. Wouldn't you, hyung?" - Youngjae said, still trying to convince Mark into planning a birthday party with him.

"I don't know. If I said I don't need it, then I wouldn't." - Mark answered, revealing the straightforward side of himself.

"Oh by the way, Coco needs a bath." - Mark said, looking at the small white furry ball.

"We'll give Coco a bath later, right now we need to focus on our leader's birthday." - Youngjae replied, dismissing Mark's worry about their dog's hygiene.

"I say don't plan anything. He's obviously going to spend his birthday with his family if he's going to absent most of the day." - Mark stated, witnessing ace Youngjae's clean win at the game Mark's been trying to figure out for a few days.

"But we have to. Jaebum hyung always does cute things for us." - Youngjae whined, handing the controller back to Mark.

"Hey!" - Jinyoung entered the dorm. Mark quickly stood up and hugged his 'friend'.

"Hyung, you didn't do that when I arrived!" - Youngjae complained. Mark laughed and went over to Youngjae to give him a hug as well.

A few hours later the three were hanging around in the kitchen trying to figure out what in the world was a 'vanilla extract'. Youngjae had successfully persuaded Mark and Jinyoung into planning a birthday party for Jaebum and baking a cake for him.

"Jinyoung hyung, shouldn't you know these kinds of stuff? After all you're the mom of the group." - Youngjae said, already on the verge of a mental breakdown.

"What does that have to do with cooking?" - Jinyoung asked, glaring at Youngjae.

"Shouldn't you know it since you were the one to suggest baking a cake." - Jinyoung attacked Youngjae.

"In all 23 years of my life, I never thought I'd get this much depressed because of one cake recipe." - Mark muttered, hopelessly standing there, while leaning against the kitchen table. To their luck, the internet was temporarily down as well, so they didn't even have the opportunity to google the ingredient.

"Should we just go out and try to find it?" - Youngjae suggested.

"Without even knowing what it looks like?" - Jinyoung asked rolling his eyes. They could go out and ask people, but because was the one to print out the cake recipe, the whole thing was in English.

"Wait." - Youngjae suddenly stood up and grabbed his phone. He started to text someone really fast, and Jinyoung and Mark just continued to just do nothing. Youngjae was texting one person he knew that was a cooking ace - Jin from BTS. He remembered rehearsing for a few performances together and if Youngjae remembered it correctly, Jin was the one to always take care of the other members. And Youngjae once heard from Jungkook while talking to him that Jin was the best cooker. So Youngjae just decided to test out his luck and text him, asking if he knew what the was a 'vanilla extract'.

It didn't take Jin to reply to his fellow idol, Jin not only translated to mysterious item for Youngjae, he also let Youngjae know where he can get one. Youngjae smiled and quickly texted a thank you back before turning to the two boys in front of him.

"Guys I figured out what it is. Let's quickly go and buy the needed ingredients and then let's start baking!" - Youngjae declared enthusiastically. So the three quickly put on their shoes and headed to the grocery store Jin told Youngjae to go to.

It was 5 in the afternoon when the kinda ugly looking birthday cake for Jaebum was finished.

"Do you thing he'll like it?" - Youngjae asked looking at the odd looking cake.

"I'll beat him up if he doesn't." - Jinyoung muttered, exhausted from baking one cake. No one could blame him though, he was the only one, who was actually trying his best to bake the best birthday for their leader. Youngjae and Mark were just there, fooling around and being weird. Youngjae laughed at Jinyoung's comment and put the cake in the fridge.

"Okay, all we need now is the birthday decorations." - Youngjae cheerfully said, while the other two looked like they had just heard a death sentence.

"Can't you do it on your own? It was your idea after all." - Mark said, looking like he was tired from everything.

"I'm honestly too old for all of this." - Mark mumbled, going to the living room coach and laying down. Coco spontaneously jumped on Mark and laid down on Mark's body.

"Youngjae, I'm really tired from the flight to Seoul was really tiring." - Jinyoung complained and quickly went to his room, leaving Youngjae alone.

Youngjae just sighed and looked through the apartment. Why does the apartment have to be so huge? Youngjae sighed once again and went to his room to start decorating from there.

4 hours later, Mark found Youngjae in the hallway in front of his room, blowing up balloons.

"What are you doing?" - Mark asked, noticing that Youngjae and Jaebum's room was now filled with ton of balloons.

"I wanted to really surprise Jaebum hyung. And I saw a prank like this one somewhere, so I'm just trying to imitate that. And I won't decorate any other part of the dorm. So when Jaebum hyung comes home, he'll think there's no part or what so ever, but when he enters his room, it's going to be like 'boom! happy birthday!'." - Youngjae quickly said, out of breath already from blowing up balloons too much and also talking a bit too fast.

"That's pretty cool." - Mark said, a bit worried about Youngjae's well being.

"Did you do all of those balloons all by yourself?" - Mark asked, pointing at the sea of balloons in their room. Youngjae just nodded and continued to blow up the balloon with all his might.

"There are those balloon pumper things. I think you should use those. Or else you're going to pass out soon." - Mark suggested and Youngjae nodded, while tying the balloon.

"Okay, I'll wake up Jinyoung and we'll go get the pumpers. I think you should rest in the meantime." - Mark said, guiding Youngjae to the living room couch. Youngjae obediently laid down and immediately closed his eyes.

It was already 5 in the morning when the three guys finally finished filling Youngjae and Jaebum's room with balloons.

"I always used to complain about how small our room was, but I never realized how freaking big it actually was." - Youngjae muttered, collapsing onto the floor.

"Jaebum better like it." - Jinyoung stated, he dispised every balloon on Earth.

"We'll beat him up if he doesn't." - Mark said, leaning against Jinyoung. Youngjae couldn't agree more.

January 6th, 7pm.

Jaebum finally arrived to his dorm that he shared with 6 other weird guys. And Jaebum expected all six of them to be standing in the doorway, congratulating him. But after finding the dorm empty, Jaebum was pretty disappointed.

"Where in the world are these weird kids?" - Jaebum asked the empty apartment, putting down his bags. Jaebum had no other choice but to go to his room as literally no one was there to at least welcome him.

Jaebum opened the door to his room and 3 dorks appeared from a literal sea of balloons, while shouting a loud 'happy birthday'. Jaebum was scared and shocked, in fact so shocked that he fell hard on his .

"What the ?" - Jaebum muttered, holding his fast beating heart. But even though, he almost had a heart attack, Jaebum was really happy that s cared enough to give him a small surprise birthday prank. Sure, he already celebrated his birthday with his family a few hours prior, but that doesn't mean he didn't want to spend his birthday with his amazing but stupid at times members, especially with his cute boyfriend - Youngjae.

"Happy birthday, hyung!"-  Youngjae shouted, coming out of the huge ocean of bright balloons. Jaebum had already given up on his wish for Youngjae to stop calling him hyung. He realized that Youngjae was too grown to the word hyung and wasn't letting go of it any time soon.

"You guys scared the out of me!" - Jaebum said, still holding his heart. Youngjae, Jinyoung and Mark started to laugh loudly, while high-five-ing each other.

"Mission accomplished!" - Youngjae proudly shouted. Jaebum got up from the floor and started to laugh with them.

"Happy birthday, JB." - Mark said, hugging one of his best friends.

"Happy birthday, Jaebum hyung." - Jinyoung also hugged him.

"Happy birthday, Jae." - Youngjae whispered, hugging him, which made Jaebum even happier than he already was.

"Thank you, Jae." - Jaebum whispered back, just wanting to press pause at this moment, as everyone was happy and joyful. Jaebum didn't want to let go of Youngjae, instead he hugged him tighter. Youngjae, as if he felt that, also kept holding Jaebum, patting Jaebum's back.

"I love you." - Youngjae whispered after a few seconds.

"I love you." - Jaebum also whispered, tightening his hug.

"Oh and Jackson and Bambam are currently in Thailand, so they couldn't be here to witness your awesome fall." - Jinyoung informed a bit bitter about Jackson spending time with Bambam, breaking their hug. Youngjae and Jaebum just laughed, they were too used to the love triangle that has been going on between the three since a long time ago.

"And Yugyeom's with his parents." - Mark said.

"By the way, hyung we made you a cake! It took us quite a while, but we worked hard. I hope you like it!" - Youngjae said, grabbing Jaebum's hand and leading him to the kitchen.

"Jinyoung will beat you up if you won't," - Mark shouted from the living room.

"We spent too much time and energy on that damn cake." - Jinyoung shouted, defending himself. Jaebum just laughed, curious to see the cake the three have mastered.

As soon as Jaebum saw the cake, he started to uncontrollably laugh loudly. But Youngjae couldn't understand why he was laughing. To him, their cake looked fine, if not amazing.

"I mean the cake is not ugly, but seriously what's wrong with it?" - Jaebum said in between his laughter.

"Nothing's wrong with it." - Youngjae casually said, making Jaebum laugh even harder.

The four of them spent the  next few hours eating the incredibly ugly but super delicious cake and laughing their butts off talking about their funniest memories.

"Oh, I just remembered something. This happened while we were still trainees." - Jinyoung started to tell another funny story,

"Jackson and I were walking to the practice room from the cafeteria. And while we were walking we passed by JYP PD. So Jackson just went up to him and he goes "Hey, what's up! I'm your trainee!". PD was so surprised and confused, he didn't know what to reply and he kinda just stood there uncomfortably for a few seconds and said "Congratualtions" and left." - Jinyoung said, making everyone laugh in unison at Jackson's foolishness,

Just like that they were up until 2am.

"Okay, let's go to sleep. It's already 2 in the morning." - Mark said, revealing the very mature side of him. Jinyoung and Mark both got up and went to their rooms, leaving the two love birds alone.

Youngjae just awkwardly smiled and sipped the glass of water in front of him. Jaebum also felt a bit awkward, not knowing what exactly to do.

"Happy brithday, leadernim!" - Youngjae said for the thousandth time.

"My birthday's over. It's already the 7th." - Jaebum laughed.

"Oh." - Youngjae said, running out of replies. Jaebum suddenly grabbed Youngjae's hands and moved him closer to himself. And just like that, Jaebum kissed Youngjae. Although the kiss was weird and sudden, it was still nice, it still left the two speechless.

"I love you." - Jaebum whispered, smiling shyly.

"I love you." - Youngjae said it back, hugging Jaebum.

"And thank you for being my cute little sponge that soaks up all of my negative emotions. I'm really thankful for that." - Youngjae confessed, getting out a small box from his back pocket.

Jaebum urgently opened the box and found the black 'bvlgari' ring he gave Youngjae a few weeks ago.

"It arrived this morning and they said they were sorry for losing the first one." - Youngjae said. Jaebum suddenly remembered everything. After he found out that they lost the ring, he quickly informed the store and ordered a new one. But he didn't know when it would arrive and he had completely forgotten about it.

"So, the ring I have now is yours?" - Youngjae asked, to which Jaebum nodded. Youngjae just smiled and took the box from Jaebum hand. He got out the ring and grabbed Jaebum's hand.

"Now we really are going to match!" - Youngjae said cheerfully and put the ring on Jaebum's finger. Jaebum smiled and felt a bit relieved that Youngjae wasn't upset about Jaebum's lie. Meanwhile, Youngjae quickly pecked Jaebum's cheek.

"I really love you, hyung." - Youngjae said and quickly ran away to his room in embarrassment.

"This kid." - Jaebum muttered under his breath and went to chase the main vocalist.
