Yong Sun stared at the two girls chatting loudly. They were sitting on the training room's floor across from her. She watched them as they shared a bowl of ramyun while laughing about something.

She was lost in her thoughts, staring through the girls, the walls, the universe. Loneliness took over her soul. The girl never had that much friends and now that she has been busy training, she barely had time to contact them. Watching the other two trainees who introduced themselves as best friends since the beginning of time, deepened the emptiness that surrounded her. She was envious of them; she never had that kind of friend.

"Unnie!" Yong Sun figured that they meant her as no one other than them was in the room.

"Do you want to join us?" The dimpled girl asked and Yong Sun couldn't say no; on one hand, she didn't want to be rude to the girls who are expected to be her future band mates; on the other hand, that girl with long dark hair looked way too cute to be rejected. 

All they knew about each other is names. 

Hyejin, the youngest of the two girls, with short black hair and really strong aura, didn't seem like the youngest. She didn't pay much attention to Yong Sun as she proceeded on inhaling the food. Yong Sun smiled, a smile that didn't reach her eyes, because she is the exact same when it comes to eating: both don't chew.

Wheein got another pair of chopsticks and gave it to their guest.

"So unnie, how old are you exactly?"
"I'm 21 years old," Yong Sun smiled, "and you guys are like 17, right?"
Hyejin nodded. "I am 17, she's..71 or something. Her soul is so old; doctors said it has something to do with her eating too much snacks."
"Says the girl who inhaled two bowls before this one." Wheein smacked her and they started laughing again, making Yong Sun laugh too.
 

She started feeling comfortable around the girls and she immediately joined their meal. Undeniably, she felt like getting close to any of them would be a hard task. Their friendship was metal solid and they didn't look like they need anyone but each other. She felt like an arrow is ripping her chest apart.

Wheein smiled and Yong Sun smiled too; her eyes wrinkled at the end and two small dimples decorated the corners of . Wheein could swear that this is the first time she saw the older girl smile. Without warning, she found her index finger reaching to the older girl's face to poke her dimples as her other index finger reached her own dimple. Cheeks tinted dark red, the oldest ducked her head a little, scratching her temple with her fingers. 

"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable," whispered an embarrassed Wheein, "that was, just, too pretty, and cute."

She lifted her head to meet a shy smile, sorry eyes. "It's okay, Wheein-ssi."

"Wheein-ssi!" Hyejin exclaimed before bursting into endless laughter. "You too think she's 71, right?" They both laughed with her and that's when Hyejin stopped, stared at them, and said "That looked like a cheesy scene from a romance comedy, by the way."

Her best friend slapped her arm then buried her blushing face in the bowl, eating non-stop.

Kim Yong Sun doesn't know when it happened, nor does Jung Wheein. Hyejin and Byul Yi -the fourth girl in the gang, a year younger than Yong Sun- always wondered if it was when Yong Sun caught Wheein alone, in a corner of the empty practice room, crying, and held her, calming her down till the youngest fell asleep; or when Wheein ran through three neighborhoods, under the pouring rain, to wish Yong Sun a happy new year before going back to Jeonju for the holiday; was it when Wheein fell sick after that and Yong Sun drove to her house in Jeonju to make her some warm soup and keep her company? Or when the younger girl walked Yong Sun home every night after practice, for a couple of weeks, because she over heard her talk about sensing someone stalking her?

Was it when Yong Sun first heard Wheein sing and didn't realize when her tears washed her face, or when they first tried to harmonize and it sounded like a match made in heaven?

No one seemed to know the exact moment when they grew so close and became the two faces of one coin. Wheein was Yong Sun's happiness pill: Yong Sun would never look at Wheein without smiling, her eyes wrinkling at the corners and her dimples appearing. 
Wheein wouldn't do anything unless Yong Sun is there. She wouldn't even eat unless Yong Sun is eating too, but the latter spends most of the time staring at her younger friend instead of actually eating. 

Byul and Hyejin, though, knew something that the other two didn't know. 

"I bet you 10 they like each other." Whispered the maknae through the loud crunches of her chips.

"I'll take you out for dinner if they just confess and let us live. I'm tired of all the hints and the teasing." Byul sighed. 

"It's taking too long and God knows I want to fall asleep one night without listening to Yong Sun unnie talking about Wheein non-stop: how she's cute, how she's tiny and sweet, how her laugh is so adorable, how perfect it'd be if she lived with us.." Moonbyul nodded in agreement.

The unnies and Hyejin moved in together, living in a rooftop apartment. Wheein told them that she's staying at her uncle's who lives in Seoul too. 

"I'VE GOT AN IDEA!" Moonbyul shouted, interrupting Wheein's and Yong Sun's practice. 
"And what is that?" The oldest asked.
"Why doesn't Wheeinie move in with us?"

The two older girls cheered in unison but it quickly succumbed to silence as they noticed the maknae line's cold reaction. Wheein just looked at her best friend, like there's no more oxygen in the room.

"Well, the thing is, Wheein, her uncle, he says that she can live with him." Stuttered Hyejin.
"We can talk to him, our apartment is closer to the company!" Said Yong Sun.
 

"Jesus! Byul unnie and her dense ideas." Cursed Hyejin under her breath.

"You see, unnie, Wheein is a weirdo, she shouldn't live around people." She said out loud.
"We're family now, not just any people!" Byul pouted. 
"You guys don't have a room for a fourth person."
"I will move to the living-room." Byul suggested, her excitement rising again. 

Everyone loved Wheein so much and the oldest girls wanted the four of them to live together more than anything else.

Hyejin walked to Wheein and pulled her for a hug as the latter whispered; "We are in deep ." Hyejin faked a smile. 
"I love you too, ." They started laughing, Wheein squeezed her arm before letting go.

Seconds later, the maknae fell on the floor screaming out some random pain in her leg.

Her friends surrounded her then Byul ran out to get a warm pad and Yong Sun fetched for w bottle of water in her purse.

When no one was looking , Hyejin winked to her best friend who smiled to her.
