The moment I regained control over my hands, I covered my face and sobbed into it. Yunho slid me down gently until I could stand on my own feet. But to my complete humiliation, he neither step back nor did he say sorry. Instead, he pulled my skirt down to cover my exposed skin and pulled me into his arms.

To say that I feel humiliated was understatement. My body had betrayed me and so were my mouth. The same mouth I used to call him names was kissing him back few minutes ago. It felt like he had control over my body. And the thing he said about me felt like a home to him . . . it shattered my heart. Now that he assaulted me with tenderness, my heart broke all over again.

I pushed against his chest, determine to end this for once and all. “Let me go.” He didn’t budge an inch. I couldn’t see his face because he hid it in the crook of my neck. “Yunho?” I pushed harder.

Then I realized that he was shaking. His shoulders trembled under my hands. “Yunho?” Wetness slid over the skin on my neck when he nuzzled closer. Frantically, I leaned away. “Are you crying?”

Miraculously he did. I grabbed his face in my hands and fascinatedly stared as droplet of fat tears rolled down his cheeks. At his silence, I used the opportunity to study the man before me. He was very much still the same. But it was as if three years of bitter life had toughened him up, he felt different.

“Why are you crying?” I asked softly.

He turned his head slightly to nuzzle against my palm before kissing the skin gently. When he looked up, my breath caught in my chest. His soulful brown eyes held so many regret and sorrow.

“What’s happened to you Yunho?”

His hands covered mine. “Do you trust me?”

Because this was Yunho, I nodded automatically.

“Then come with me.”

My heart pounded in my chest. “Where?”

“My place.”

I frowned, confused and hurt at the same time. “But your wife –”

His eyes widened. “I’ve never been married Yuri.”

“B – but . . . . Changmin said . . .”

He shook his head as sadness washed over his feature.
