I altered a few things, if you don't mind

Seoul, South Korea. 2040.

JB stared at the scene before him. It was absolutely, breath-takingly, amazingly, wonderfully horrifying. He could see freakishly tall buildings, flying vehicles, pollution, and no trees. Nothing green whatsoever. People can't even find a pine tree for Christmas anymore.

"Hyung, lunch!" Jackson called him from inside.

JB had lived with his friends for as long as he could remember, they were all graduates from thee university that specializes in time machines. By the end of 2039, they all had their own time machines. They've traveled to 5 different years so far, 2010, 2009, 1998, 2021 and 2003.

When he sat on the dining table, he picked up his chopsticks and followed everyone to eat.

"Guys, what do you say if we take another trip?"

Youngjae raised his eyebrows, "Another trip?"

"We just got back from 2003 last week." Jinyoung said, "why another trip?"

"I just feel bored. And I need to see trees, seriously. And we don't have a Christmas tree!" He complained.

"You want to go years back just to see a Christmas Tree? Just surf the internet, hyung." Jackson laughed.

JB rolled his eyes and kept eating.

"If you want to see one, why don't you just go back yourself, hyung?" Bambam asked.

Jinyoung immediately hushed the maknae. "Do you have any idea what might happen if he's alone?? He might get into an accident and no one will ever know! He might get lost! And the worst scenario of all, he might fall in love! What happens then, huh??"

"Actually that's a pretty good idea, Bambam." JB said, thinking over it.

"Um, hello?? Did you not hear of the problems you might encounter that I just mentioned??"

"The chances are tiny, Jinyoung. In fact, I don't think there's any at all." JB said. "I'm only going to look at the Christmas tree in the middle of town and then I'll leave."

Rolling his eyes, JB finished his food. "Sure."

When JB wore his coat and went into the room where they kept their time machines, Jinyoung stood by the doorstep. "You're going to come back, right?"
