Chapter 6
TrustSeolhyun couldn't realize how much fun she had that day and she was actually disappointed when she had to leave...
~~That Day~~
Seolhyun and Hyejeong were having lunch, eating in comfortable silence
"If you don't mind me asking... Uhhhh, why are you always alone? I mean, if I was a pretty as you, everyone would probably want to be around me, you know? But, I mean you don't have to answer if you want... I was just wondering and stuff..." Hyejeong asks cautiously
Seolhyun's face immediately darkens after hearing the question
"You don't have to worry about answering that question! I was just curious but, if it makes you uncomfortable like that I understand..." Hyejeong says, trying to get the comfortable atmosphere back
"Ha... W-What do you understand?" Seolhyun asks, her voice quivering as she tries to hold back tears
Hyejeong notices the tears forming in Seolhyun's eyes and immediately hugs her, trying to comfort the girl
Seolhyun breaks down in Hyejeongs arms, and sobs her heart out with Hyejeong rubbing her back trying to comfort her in whatever way she can
"It's ok Seolhyun, I'm here for you, you can trust me, ok?" Hyejeong says in a soft tone, trying not to hurt the girl even more
Trust... I wish I could Hyejeong but, my heart is too cold for you to thaw out... I've secured it in deep lays of ice and your warm smile, your kind words, and even your love might not be able to fix me... I wish I could trust you easily, I really do... But, I need proof and assurance before I can do that...
"I-I don't think I can Hyejeong..." Seolhyun says as she lightly pushes Hyejeong away
"Seolhyun... Look, I never thought I would be saying these things to you and I don't know what I'll do if I never say them... But... Seolhyun I love you ok? I don't know why but, you caught my attention on the first day of school and I just knew I had to make you mine. We were destined ok? I love you and I would do anything and everything for you, I promise I will make you the happiest girl alive... Just... Please... Trust me... Kim Seolhyun, will you please go out with me?" Hyejeong asks nervously as she puts her hands on top of Seolhyun's trying to make sure she feels her sincerity
Seolhyun just couldn't believe it, her eyes and mouth opened and she was purely shocked at Hyejeongs question, not really knowing how she should respond
Shin Hyejeong is asking me out?!?! Seol! You know you can't go out with her! You have to put trust in her before you do that! But I want to trust her! She just makes me feel safe in her arms...
"Promise me Hyejeong..." Seolhyun says
"What is it? Please! I'll do anything for you!" Hyejeong asks nervously
"Promise me, oh will never break my heart and you will never leave me, ok?" Seolhyun asks, tears forming in her eyes
"Of course Seolhyun! I would never dare to break my princesses heart! Now, will you go out with me?" Hyejeong asks one final time giving Seolhyun's hand a reassuring squeeze
"Then... Yes!" Seolhyun says excitingly tackling Hyejeong
They both burst out laughing and Seolhyun gets off Hyejeong and starts packing her stuff up
"Hey Seolhyun?" Hyejeong says
"Hmmm?" Seolhyun says
Before she could say anything else, Hyejeong smashes their lips together and they kiss for a good minute or two
Both break away and are panting hard
"I love you," Hyejeong says, satisfied with the kiss
"I love you too" Seolhyun says shyly
"Let's go walk around ok?" Hyejeong says, taking hold of Seolhyun's hand
The two spent the rest of that day, walking around and just being together
~~Present Time~~
Seolhyun was at home laying on her bed, just thinking about her and Hyejeong...
*sigh* I feel so... Safe? Why? Maybe it's just the feeling Hyejeong left after we started dating... Hopefully my heart can trust her and maybe thaw out... Just a little...
