Chapter 5

"S-Shin Hyejeong" Seolhyun stutters
Hyejeong couldn't believe it, when she heard her name being called by Seolhyun she almost screamed from joy and she swears that she heard angels singing and that the gods have blessed her with this heavenly goddess
Seolhyun quickly heads back to her seat staring at Hyejeong the whole time
H-How can this happen!?!? Did the teachers arrange this?!?! I'm going crazy! How can I be paired up with the one and only Shin Hyejeong?!?!?! This is too good to be true!!! Seolhyun thinks
After the rest of the class has gotten their partners and has moved seats the teachers decided to give the kids the rest of the day to chat with their partners and get used to being together
Mina and Yuna walked up to Hyejeong who was sitting there just staring into space, not believing the events that just occurred
"Dong dong? Hyejeong? Hello? Shin Hyejeong!? YAH!!!" Mina yells causing Hyejeong to fall out of her seat
"Wtf Mina?!?! What was that for?!?" Hyejeong says, getting up off the floor
"Well sorry to ruin your daydreams about Seolhyun but, it's lunch time" Mina says smirking
"I was not daydreaming about Seolhyun!!!" Hyejeong says
"And I'm not hungry" Hyejeong says grumpily
"SHIN HYEJEONG IS NOT HUNGRY?!?!?!? IS THE WORLD COMING TO AN END?!?!?!" Mina yells for the earth to hear
"NO! And stop yelling Mina! Your gonna break my eardrums!" Hyejeong says "lightly" pushing Mina onto Yuna
Mina, being the clumsy person she is, fell on top of Yuna and her face flares up immediately
"Are you ok?" Yuna asks worried
"Y-Yeah..." Mina says and quickly gets off of Yuna
"Well if you don't want to eat Hyejeong, me and Mina are gonna go find the rest of our friends, bye!" Yuna says and grabs Mina by the hand and leaves
"Why we can't be like them..." Hyejeong asks out loud and slumps back in her seat
"We?" Seolhyun suddenly appears
Hyejeongs eyes shoot open and she sees Seolhyun standing in front of her desk giving her a cold stare
"Ah... N-Nevermind..." Hyejeong awkwardly says
"By the way, I'm Shin Hyejeong!" Hyejeong introduces herself with a warm smile and extends her hand toward Seolhyun
"K-Kim Seolhyun" Seolhyun says and timidly shakes Hyejeongs
Just look at that smile!!! I'm going to have a heart attack... Why is she so perfect? I admit it... I love Shin Hyejeong... But, I promised to never give my trust and never confess! You can do this Seol! It's only for a year! You can do this... Can't you Seolhyun?
Seolhyun lets go her hand, realizing that the situation suddenly turned awkward
"Do you want to have lunch?" Hyejeong asks shyly with a light blush on her face
"S-Sure..." Seolhyun says and the two head out the door and run into Jimin and Choa
"Choa, Jimin! Hey!" Hyejeong yells with the biggest smile on her face as the two walk in their direction
Seolhyun freezes in place and immediately puts on her cold stare
"Hey! Who's your partner again?" Choa asks, peeking over at Seolhyun
"This is Kim Seolhyun!" Hyejeong excitedly introduces
"Hey Seolhyun!" Jimin says, only earning her a cold stare from Seolhyun
"Ok... Uhhhh... Well then..." Jimin says after realizing the girl had no intention of greeting her back
"Well Hyejeong, me and Jimin are gonna get some lunch now, bye!" Choa says and drags Jimin away before she causes trouble
"Ok bye!" Hyejeong says waving at the couple
"Where do you wanna eat?" Hyejeong turns toward Seolhyun and asks
"I usually eat on the roof..." Seolhyun mutters
"Alone?" Hyejeong asks, she just couldn't believe this beautiful goddess doesn't have any friends
"Yeah..." Seolhyun says
"Well not anymore!!" Hyejeong says with a warm smile and grabs Seolhyun by the hand
"Let's go!!!" Hyejeong yells running down the hall hand in hand with Seolhyun
Before Seolhyun realizes, she's running along with Hyejeong down the hallway, laughing and smiling
When they make it to the roof, they are both panting hard with smiles on their faces
"See? Your pretty when you smile!!!" Hyejeong says staring at Seolhyun's beautiful smile
Seolhyun's smile turns into a bigger one and she hugs Hyejeong
"Thanks for showing me that..." Seolhyun whispers in her ear and steps back
"Now let's eat!" Seolhyun says
Hyejeong stands there like a statue, trying to process what just happened and to prove to herself that this is not a dream
"Hyejeong?" Seolhyun asks
"Y-Yeah?" Hyejeong responds, coming out of her trance
"Come on!" Seolhyun calls
Hyejeong runs towards Seolhyun and the two girls spent the rest of the afternoon eating and talking till the day came to an end...
