The morning following her encounter with D.O, Min Jun gathers her sister and their two friends under the tree of their elementary school. Accompanied by flamboyant hand gestures, she begins the recount the happenings of that night.

“And then,” she exclaims, “the door opens! And I tumble in, and a boy rescues me!”

The three other children regard her with the same skeptic gaze as they had when she suggested that they break into the Ahn Mansion.

“Are you sure, Min Jun?”

Min Jun nods, “and the boy said that he’d been living in the attic ever since he was young!”

She surveys the expressions of her three companions. Her face falls as she reaches a revelation: they don’t believe her at all.

“I swear I’m not making this up!” She says.

Min Gi and Chanyeol exchange a glance.

“Yeah. We believe you.”

It is evident that they don’t.

“I-I could take you!”

“No thanks,” Min Gi says quickly, “the Ahn Mansion creeps me out.”

“Same here,” Chanyeol adds, “it’s haunted.”

Baekhyun chews at his fingernails.

“Yeah, Min Jun, I doubt it’s a good idea to go back.”

Min Jun frowns and crosses her arms. Her brows furrow and her lips stretch into a pout.

"I don't care what you all think! I don't need you!"
