PART ONE - Min Junone;
Cha Min Jun is led down the dark halls of the maximum security correctional facility, scarcely lit by the flickering fluorescent lights. The guard unlocks a heavy steel door and ushers her in, shutting it behind her.
He sits there in the dark, waiting. His hands are in cuffs, folded before him, resting on the table he is sitting at. Min Jun swallows as she slides into the seat across from him.
He looks up and smiles. She is taken aback by how young he is; and how innocent he looks: like an angel. His dark hair, tousled and unkempt, falls into his eyes.
It is remarkable how impassive they are.
“Hello,” he says, “my name is Do Kyungsoo. You must be the new criminal psychiatrist.”
His voice is smooth, like melted chocolate.
“Yes,” says Min Jun, “a pleasure to meet you.”
She opens her briefcase and places her files on the small table. From the various notes collected from the psychiatrists beforehand, it is concluded that Kyungsoo displays attributes of psychopathy and antisocial personality disorder, but that is pretty much all they can gather.
