Mostly hidden in his cloak and traveling astride a big bay horse, Wooyoung looks like little more than an unusual traveler. When he wanders into Thraken in search of supplies, he stumbles upon an arena caging a sand tracker. While deplorable, he brushes it off as not his concern. Really it isn't, as much as he dislikes them in general. But then his inability to find assistance and his own morbid curiosity drive him to take a look for himself. And that's when things get really interesting
Life as a Wind Tamer is not unlike being an ordinary human for Taeyang. He has little trouble in hiding what he is the majority of the time, keeping the tell tale signs out of the open, but when he feels another of his kind nearby and slips up, it leads him into a fair bit of trouble with the possibility of a better ending than he could have ever dreamed.
After a string of murders in his city, the hunter Taekwoon gets word of where the suspect has finally shown up. It's great news, except the suspect is a supernatural creature he had thought was his friend which makes him wonder why Hakyeon would be killing people in the first place.
Junho agrees to watch his nephew for the evening. Chansung goes along with it. With very little experience in handling young children and two cats in the way, what's the worst that could happen?
Kyoungjae is an assistant healer in the castle with a crush on Soohyun, the skilled and sometimes intimidating weapons master. In the training hall, he is a wonder to watch, where he is typically composed and a true master of his domain. But when the death bell sings her mournful song again, this time, Kyoungjae notices a change in the usually untouchable other man.
Separated for two years, Jiyong was determined to keep his promise to return to Chaerin after the ritualistic war led by the warring factions is over. Granted, it might not be as easy as he thought when he found that she had changed since the last time he saw her.
In an instant, everything can change. Captured. Protected. Raised by a monster. Byunghyun finds himself a strange companion to the beast that murdered his mother. Daniel, as he comes to call it, won't let him leave or return to the remaining humans. But neither knows why. Yet.
On a dare, JR agrees to spend the night in an old cemetery located outside of the town he and and his best friend Aron live in. But All Hallow's Eve is not the best of nights to wander in a graveyard where hungry spirits may seek what they have already lost.
Even a perfect love lasts only so long, for whatever reason. But that doesn't mean there can't be another after the first. Hyoyeon finds the love of her life, but when she loses him, it's not the end of the world. There is light after the storm after all.
There are times when we find ourselves in dark places, when we've driven away all those who might care, and there is nothing left behind but the emptiness and whatever vices we are drawn to. Gunwoo is caught in one of those dark places and he doesn't know how to get out.
Sometimes, the hardest part of an accident isn't surviving it and Hakyeon learns the hard way that moving on isn't easy when it means letting go of someone who may not be ready to leave or helping another who may never recover. This story has been submitted to Cryptic Critics—A Mini VIXX Fanfic Contest.
He had never asked to be summoned from the outer realm in the first place. Nor did Byunghyun ask for his Summoner to die before sending him back, making him a 'rogue' Eidolon by default. And he certainly hadn't asked to be captured by the Mage Guild where he was subsequently bound to the recently blinded alchemist Minsoo. But Byunghyun learns that sometimes, what he doesn't want ends up being just what he needs. Or at the very least, it ends up being much better than he ever though
Branded a witch and besieged by brief moments of incredible power, Chaerin is wanted by the Elder Patriarch for questioning and cleansing. Her brother Gunwoo will do anything to make sure that doesn't happen. And Seyong is a victim of circumstance who finds their unpredictable company preferable to a jail cell and an early death. Follow the connected series of oneshots chronicling the lives of the young refugee Gunwoo, his cursed sister Chaerin, and their thief friend Seyong as they try to
Now that all the Guardian Spirits of each team has been slain, casting all the rest into madness, it is up to the Matoki Dragonriders to reach the false sun in the sky. The recently deceased Matoki spirit has promised them salvation if they can but breach it. All they have to do is make it past all their former opponents whose sole purpose has become to stop them in any way they can.
When Gunwoo and his companions are finally captured by the Elder Patriarch and sentenced to execution, the situation looks bleak as he is led to the chopping block. Abandoned previously by their so called allies, it looks as if he's run out of time and options. But fear makes people do strange things sometimes and Gunwoo isn't the only one afraid of losing something (like his head) or someone.
When a dragon bonds with his rider, nothing can keep them apart. It means that Leo can find Hakyeon at any time and in any place. But... when he finds his rider after he has gone missing, rescuing him will be no easy feat. This story has been entered into Cryptic Critics—A Mini VIXX Fanfic Contest.
A fun romp in which Hakyeon's plans for his boyfriend's belated birthday don't pan out quite as well as he hoped. Between the mutual teasing, a horseback riding trek not entirely agreeable with Hakyeon, and the promise of a glorious hotel room after the fact, there's no telling what'll happen with these two.
In which Junhong is dragged to a party by Youngjae and finds himself attracted to and in close proximity of Daehyun. Enter one instigator, the meddlesome friend of a friend, and one ex-boyfriend, and Junhong finds himself in a far more interesting party than he ever anticipated.
As a Scribe of the Order, Junhyung just wants to do his job in a quiet place with no distractions; at least until he can set out on his own. The library should be one such establishment. But his plans are challenged when one of the newest familiars in training chooses his general vicinity to study in.
Water and wind complement each other very well, but they also have a tendency to clash at times, which sums up the relationship that Byunghyun and Daniel currently have. It's not common for wind and water sprites to coexist as anything more than friends, but neither is it unheard of. And both have access to wondrous, magical realms barred from them individually.
Life isn't the easiest when you're the descendant of a Titan but for Namjoon, there are worse things. Like moving to a new area where he has to make all new friends, one of which is distantly related to Echidna, the mother of monsters. Personally, he has no idea why Suga goes by such a strange nickname, but when he gets close enough to find out, his discovery leads to an accident and a task of nearly impossible proportions.
There are some people for which the world holds little to no joy and, for whatever reason, they have no desire to try and change that. Myungsoo is one such person. Bound to a loveless family that merely continues to show him how lousy the world really is, he'd rather be alone and 'independent' than risk letting someone else in. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, the world is about to take matters into its own hands.
