Description
When Gunwoo and his companions are finally captured by the Elder Patriarch and sentenced to execution, the situation looks bleak as he is led to the chopping block. Abandoned previously by their so called allies, it looks as if he's run out of time and options. But fear makes people do strange things sometimes and Gunwoo isn't the only one afraid of losing something (like his head) or someone.
Foreword
Set in the same world as More Than Meets the Eye, the misadventures of Gunwoo, his sister Chaerin, and their poor thief companion Seyong continue. Reading the original will help newcomers understand some of the more confusing points here but it's not meant to be necessary overall. And this one introduces a whole other arc of people. ;) It's a little bit violent, paired with a bit of dry humor, and ultimately meant to be enjoyed. I hope I am successful in that endeavor.
