Sigil Sworn

Description

Mostly hidden in his cloak and traveling astride a big bay horse, Wooyoung looks like little more than an unusual traveler.  When he wanders into Thraken in search of supplies, he stumbles upon an arena caging a sand tracker.  While deplorable, he brushes it off as not his concern.  Really it isn't, as much as he dislikes them in general.  But then his inability to find assistance and his own morbid curiosity drive him to take a look for himself.  And that's when things get really interesting.

Foreword

Written as another oneshot for my Two Dozen and One Tales collection, this one features Wooyoung and Jun.K (because they're my new favored ship and I was shown a Wooyoung picture that screamed fantasy and fighting).  Really, it's a nice excuse to write an extended fight scene with the beginnings of WooKay that I'll probably come back to later, but I hope you enjoy it all the same.  ^_^

Sigil Sworn and Sand Tracker will be mostly explained in the story though I may come back to clarify them here (in the foreword) later.

"Wow – I really, really loved this, and when you take into consideration that I have no idea who Wooyoung and Minjun are, that’s a real achievement in the world of fanfiction!" - 93%

Chapter 1: I was going to complain how you could just end it here. Without explaining what a bard really is and what it means. I love love love the picture set of Wooyoung I always wanted to read or write a story about it. Though rather not writing as I have already enough to be written …
But back to the story, I’m a huge er for fantasy, and this is high quality fantasy, so everything my little heart could long for. I probably would have even needed to read it if it was Chanho though it would have token me a lot of kicking in the to start, so what I actually mean with all the beating around the bush. I’m your new fan!
I also love the deeper earning of it all. That you don’t always need a reason to help someone. That maybe your own intention might just be that you don’t like the outcome if you don’t , or because you don’t want to satisfy the other party, or just nothing from it at all, but just the urge to do it.
Even though I love fantasy I’m not very literate, I’m just so picky as I actually dislike “romance” and kitsch. But myself aside is there a background to the sigil sworn? Because somehow I have the feeling I have seen or heard something along the lines somewhere, but different.
Like in princess Mononoke. Or at least that how I imagined Wooyoungs power, the guy was cursed to right? And he used the curse from time to time as a weapon, so I kind of imagined it similar to it.

I would really look forward to read more about it, but of courso only if you feel like it and do have the time. But anything 2pm related will feel my heart with bliss and joy … well almost

Chapter 1: Heck yes you did this DAMN good!
I didn't know what prompt you chose since I read it here, but ithen is quite obvious to me that you used the "reason to help people" one. This story was pulse pounding and intense, and really nicely done. I especially enjoyed the way that you portray Wooyoung; unafraid to be against the consensus and totally badass. Minjun as what he is is perfection, I could see him being that so well! I am guessing that he list his belongings so there is sadly little chance of mysic, but still. That voice. <3. AGAIN, perfect choice for him.
The Sand Tracker was awesome. I gotta admit that I felt bad for ut, too, being trapped there, but his intervention was necessary and wonderfully done. The way that you described how he accessed his weapons, my imagination was spinning with that! So cool and unique!!!
I did see a typo here...
He tossed the second to Minjun without looing ...
But the story is wonderfully solid and awesome and I am so intrigued by the world you're setting up. Great job!!!

Chapter 1: Yay!!!!!!!!

This is perfection! You've always had a way with creatures and that sand tracker read awesomely. I could picture it perfectly. That tail. I wouldn't want to be close to that thing. O.o

Wooyoung. I could picture it perfectly. The pictures you use and how you incorporate it into the story make it easy to stick the imagery into the story and go from there.

As usual you have alot of questions that you pose and I look forward to the rest whenever you get around to it.
I enjoyed this greatly.
