As for the OC-centric-ness of the sequel, I think there's definitely a risk of "will people still be interested?" but I've seen this artist on Instagram gain a following from this entire AU based on Mystic Messenger (this Korean mobile game) and her characters are all OC children of the game characters. So yeah, it's possible to still keep some interest from the original setting.
Chapter 51: Is there any possibility that Lamia will still end up together with Sehun though? I really hope to see more of their moments knowing that they were once soulmates.
