Chapter 01

“I said nothing for a time,
just ran my fingertips along the edge of the human-shaped emptiness that had been left inside me.”

 - Haruki Murakami

It was a gorgeous, warm day. The sun beams illuminated the whole space in front of a large governmental building; reflections of the sun in the glass windows sending sparkles flying around in the air.

Somebody was holding a speech; a small, obese man stood in front of a stand with a microphone set up in front of his sweaty lips. The white shirt stressed tight over his huge belly and his suit didn't fit due to his disproportionate body.

His smug voice filled up the whole area, as his short-breathed voice enumerated endless empty promises and fed lies to the mindless citizens, who were taking all of it in like it was a drug they consumed to stay alive.

She felt disgusted.

Disgusted by how dulled these people were.

Disgusted how they believed in anything, without giving it a second thought.

Watching the whole scenery through the view of her rifle's sight, her finger curled around the trigger. Her bottom lip was tucked in between her teeth and one eye was pinched shut to enable a better aim at her victim.

3...

She inhaled deeply, steadying her arm on the rooftop's concrete edge.

2...

She exhaled, holding her breath as the grip around the trigger tightened.

1...

She fired the rifle.

A split second later, her victim's eyes rolled to the back of his head, only the whites showing, before he fell like a cut down tree.

Silence.

Then the whole scenery broke into panic. Screams of terror filled the air as people frantically looked around, their terrified eyes flickering around quickly, searching for the source of this horrible tragedy.

A knot started to build around the dead man, desperately trying to reanimate him – ventilating him by breathing air into his lie-telling lungs, massaging his cold, selfish heart. But there was no use, since her bullet had hit him right in between the eyes.

Her skilled shots never missed.

She felt a tug on her arm, making her head spin around quickly.

“Come on, Dalnim! We gotta leave. Jin is waiting with the van!”

She looked up into the face of her best friend.

His face seemed stressed about how she was letting precious time slip, not following the exact time plan Namjoon had worked out. His eyes, though, were glittering with excitement and a grin played about his lips.

He grabbed her free hand and swept her to her feet before they headed off running down the fire stairs, where a black van waited at the end, the engine running.

They hopped into the back and Dalnim s to the front seat as Hoseok slammed the door shut. The car took of with screeching tires and she exchanged a triumphant smile with her partners.

“You really outdid yourself today, Dalnim!” her friend beamed, holding up his hand for a high five. Their hands met mid-air with a clap as a wide, self-confident grin appeared on her face, stretching from ear to ear.

“You know me, Hoseok. I never miss a shot.”

She spun her body back to the front, turning up the volume of the music basting through the speakers. The driver, Jin, was also smiling, occasionally peeking glances at the girl who just killed a man and acted like she won a game of basketball.

She closed her eyes as she felt his light touch on her thigh, signaling her that he congratulated her. She put her hand on his, interlacing their fingers for a second before shoving his hand off of her.

“Concentrate on the traffic, Kim. I don't wanna die in a ing accident before we celebrate this success.”

All of their lips curled up in excitement as they thought of the party that was going to happen later on.

“To Dalnim and Hoseok for delivering only the best job once again.”

Their glasses were all raised as they sat up in the VIP section of one of the underground's most popular clubs. The music boomed through the room, the bass vibrating through everybody's limbs.

Dalnim had her glass raised as well but her eyes flickered from Namjoon over to the dance floor, where a lot of people were swaying to the music in a state of ecstasy.

“To the double trouble!” Jin agreed and her gaze moved over to him.

His eyes were fixed on her face, affection s

Chapter 24: Im not gonna lie, I felt so spooked out when I reading this story, especially the parts talking killing and all bad dreams and stuff.
But it was such a good story oh my!
Tae and Jimin were too good, I felt like as if they were my friends.
What I mostly love d and want to thank you Author, is because you made Kim SeokJin extremely look cool.
Even tho he didn't get to be with the love of his and wasnt the main character but you made him appear really cool in my eyes
I come across too many fics that always described Jin as a princess or give a silly and laughable personality. I was actually hoping that Dasom would developed feelings for him!
It was such a good story but there is something Im confuse about, her real name is Yoon Dasom? Like she bwent living Dalnim as a fake name?

Chapter 24: Dont tell me they (suga and maybe Dal too) still kill people for a living!

The story started out very promising, Dal and also every character was so well described. Very very well described. As the story goes on there seems to be lack of character development though, not that the characters are too flat, but it seems they dont feel a lot alive as the beginning to me. I bet it's just me. The beginning parts were seriously gold :) so good job author-nim!

Chapter 19: Wait dalnim pulled the trigger but no one near the room heard a slight bit?
Author nim you really scared the out of me with her fierce character. I'm still holding a silly hope that she at least feel bad for doing such thing to an innocent (and disturbing...) girl. Anyway this scene came out kind of unecessary? I dont know just felt like her death got nothing to do with the plot.
Anyways, I just want to point out another thing before heading to read more. Her past story was kind of similar to one character's from Rules of Deduction by loviet. Just some key detail, but diferrent outcomes and such :) of course, its just a coincidence. Dont misunderstand me please.

Chapter 25: I was drowned in my tears omg i couldn't stop the teas from flowing. To be honest i was quite glad because it's been quite awhile since i am able to at least tear up. I've been feeling very emotional yet i can't release any of it even if something sad happened it just feels numb but i do know i really want to cry my heart out , the only thing stopping me was no tears was flowing out no matter how hard i tried. SO THIS FIC WAS DEFINITELY WORTH READING AND I AM SO GONNA SUPPORT UR FUTURE WORKS!! (=^ェ^=)
