"You just came back home? I thought you're already inside?" Kwang Soo was surprised to see Jae Suk at the front door, holding a paper bag, sweating and his skin turned pink.

          "You went shopping or something? I thought I saw you at the mall." Ji Hyo interrupted, a lollipop.

          Jae Suk just ignored them both and went straight to his room. As he close the door shut, he put the bag aside, taking out a light jacket from his closet and put it on. He took out a small towel and wiped his face.

          "So you think you're so special that you can simply destroyed someone's dream, huh!?" Jong Kook suddenly burst into the room. His action caused Jae Suk to froze for a while.

          "Cat got your tounge or something?"

          "Ya! Kim Jong Kook! You burst into my room just to say that? And what do you mean I destroyed someone's dream?" Jae Suk finally spoke up.

          "Don't pretend like you know nothing. Just because you came from the most powerful family in Seoul, doesn't mean you are."

          "What's wrong? Jealous? Why? Because you came from, I don't know, second best?" Jae Suk said sarcastically.

          "You're really asking for it..." Jong Kook's word went hanging in air as the door suddenly swings open, revealing Suk Jin at the other side.

          "Uhm, dinner's ready. And Jong Kook, your phone's ringing. You left it downstairs at the kitchen counter."

          Not wanting to cause any trouble, Jong Kook quickly leave the room, leaving the duo alone.

          Jae Suk look at his hyung for a while before heading towards him. Instead of exiting his room, he pushed Suk Jin out off his room instead, slamming the door shut.

          "Jae Suk? What's wrong? Did I did something wrong? Are you mad at me?" Suk Jin asked, worried that he might have hurt his friend's feeling.

          Jae Suk put his forehead on the door and crossed his arm. He then said no gently, calming his hyung down.

          "Don't you want to eat dinner? Ji Hyo made black bean noodles." Suk Jin tried persuading him out.

          "No thanks." he answered short.

          "You sure you don't want to eat, Sukkie? You won't get to sleep well tonight."

          "It's okay hyung. I'm not hungry. Just, go eat your noodles before it turned soggy and cold or before someone else took yours."

          "Okay then. I'll leave some for you." Suk Jin said before leaving.

          After making sure Suk Jin has left the floor, he jumped onto his bed. He then brought his legs inwards and put his chin on his knees.

          It's not that he's not hungry, it just that he doesn't want to face Suk Jin for the moment. He's just not into it. Especially after he overheard Suk Jin's conversation with Jong Kook earlier. Her started feeling guilty.

          A smile was suddenly drawn on his face, remembering that his hyung just called him 'Sukkie'. That's what they called each other when they're still young. 'Sukkie hyung' and 'Sukkie dongsaeng', the 'Sukkie brothers'. They called themselves that due to the word 'Suk' in their name.

          He decided to finish his homework since he had nothing better to do. However, his mind went blank for no reason. Nothing in, nothing out. His skin felt itchy, causing him to lose his focus.

          "Oh come on. Not now!" he groaned, scratching his sensitive skin.

          "That's it! I'm sleeping early!" he decided. He put his books and pen on the table and lie on his bed.

          It's 2300, everyone's in their respective room and Jae Suk was still wide awake, feeling that he's losing his sleep that night.

          He already switched off the lights so that it would be easier to fall asleep. However, he wasted two hour, looking at the ceiling which he could only see blurry dark grey with a blank stare.

         He tried tossing himself to the left, then tried turning himself to the right. It just doesn't feel right.

          He started searching for his grasshopper plushie on the bed and brought it closer to his face, hugging it tightly. He couldn't help but inhaled the grasshopper's scent, which smells like pandan leaf. He felt like breaking into tears for no reason.

          "How come you never told me?"

          "Can you just leave him alone!" that's what he said when I first know him.

          I met him at a playground around the neighborhood. I used to be an easy target for the bullies back then. Even my status couldn't stop them.

          That's when one day, he suddenly stood in front of me, yelling at those boys,

          "I couldn't help but noticed that you've been bullying the same kid everyday. I'm not his friend or anything but that doesn't mean I can't help. I know who you're parents are and I'm not afraid to tell them!"

          Those boys surprisingly leave the two of us alone. Well, one of them gave us a deadly glare before leaving.

          "Are you okay? Any bruises that need to be treat ASAP?" he asked, helping me to get up.

          I shook my head as I dust off the dirt on me. He looked at me for a while before inviting me to the swing set.

          He swing so high up, while I didn't even move. He must have noticed my action that he eventually slowed down.

          "You... don't like the swing set? Sorry. I just, don't know what else to play with. The boys would always play in the sandbox, the girls in the gazebo over there and, the monkey bars is a little bit dangerous for kids like us."

          I gave him a blank stare, don't know what to say to lighten up the conversation. That's when he added,

          "I'm sorry. I must've been rude. My name's Suk Jin. Ji Suk Jin. I guessed that's why you don't want to speak up." he introduced himself.

          I only smiled before saying, "I'm, Yoo Jae Suk. I'm sorry for being quiet."

          He was stunned for a while. "Yoo? You're from the Yoo family? You mean, one of the richest and greatest clan in Seoul?" he asked.

          "What makes you so sure I'm that Yoo Jae Suk?" I asked.

          "There's only one Yoo family in the neighborhood here." he answered confidently.

          It happened, just like that. My parents were suprised when I introduced him and his family to them. But they never really care as they were too busy for it.

          I started inviting Suk Jin over everyday after school. I noticed that he had to bring his homework over, so I thought about studying together. Thanks to him, my grades are getting better.

          We are so close, I don't think I want to let him go. I don't even know why...

          "Sukkie ah. Guess what? I got a scholarship to America." he suddenly told me one day.

          "Wha-! You didn't accept it, right? Please don't! Don't go there! I'll be lonely without you here!"

          I beg him for almost a week. I don't really know his final decision, until my family approached me.

          "Jae Suk, what did you do this time? We heard that you force Suk Jin to refuse a scholarship. You do know that the Ji family could use a little money to support them. They're not like us."

          "Hyung, are you okay?" a voice woke Jae Suk up. He tried tracking it down. But everything's too blurry to see a thing.

           The voice's owner helped him put on his glasses. It was just Kwang Soo, on his bed. Suk Jin is behind him, along with a tray with bowl wrapped with plastic.

          "What, why are you here?" Jae Suk asked. He noticed that he was sweating and he wondered why.

          "You were, screaming in your sleep. I wasn't asleep yet that time. I got scared that I had to wake Suk Jin hyung." Kwang Soo replied, wiping his hyung's face with a tissue.

          “S-sorry for disturbing your sleep." Jae Suk said as he get up. He then looked at the closest clock to check the time. 0200?!

          “I've told you that you should... Sukkie ah." Suk Jin's voice tone suddenly changed when he spotted something on his dongsaeng's face.

          He move closer to Jae Suk and take off his jacket by force. He then rolled his left shirt sleeve up, revealing his pink skin and red rashes all over.

          “Yah, Yoo Jae Suk! Did you play under the sun? Did you scratched your skin like crazy again?" he said in anger, letting go off his arm, going to the drawer under the mirror.

           “What's wrong with him, hyung?" Kwang Soo asked, making himself comfortable on the bed. Jae Suk was already making a worried look.

          “Your hyung over there has a sensitive skin. He can't be too exposed to the Sun ray too long, especially UV ray." Suk Jin explained, searching for something in the upper drawer.

          “Oh really? Just like Ji Hyo nuna then. She has sensitive skin too."

          “Hyung. You're... Not going... To do that... Right?" Jae Suk's voice went shaky when Suk Jin took out the thing he was looking for; a medical lotion for rashes.

          “You think? Kwang Soo, hold him tight for me, please!"

          As demanded, Kwang Soo quickly hugged Jae Suk as tight as possible, figuring that he's the type that would run away from a treatment. Jae Suk started to struggle, trying to get out of the little dongsaeng's grip.

          “Ah-hyung, don't grip my hand too hard. It-Ah! Hyung! Stop! It stings! Hyung!" He started to wail in pain. Suk Jin ignored the wailed, gripping his left wrist tighter and applied the lotion on the skin rougher.

          “This wouldn't happen if you'd come to me or apply it yourself earlier." he said in annoyance.

          “Forgive me for asking, but when was the last time this happened?" Kwang Soo asked, trying as hard as he could to hold him tight.

          “When he was 9. You had no idea how long it take to finish this that time." he replied, gripping the other wrist and spread the lotion on that arm.

          Tears began flowing on Jae Suk's cheek. Suk Jin made a release-him sign and pulled the crying patient into his embrace, his back gently.

          “Sukkie, I'm sorry for being harsh on you just now." he whispered softly into his ear. “I just need to spread this thing on your face and it'll be over. Be strong and try to endure the pain.“

           The skin would eventually get thinner within every rough scratch, but the face is the most sensitive place as the nerve cell is more closer to the brain. Suk Jin's aware of that, try smearing it gentler onto the rashes.

          Jae Suk tried hard not to squirm, hugging his hyung tight. Kwang Soo fell asleep on the bed, snoring with his head on Jae Suk's feet. More reason for not making any sudden move.

          He still remember when he first discovered about his illness. He wasn't really aware of it, but Suk Jin insisted on asking wether he had any allergies or not. His parents only paid attention when he told them about it.
          
          “Hyung... I'm sorry..." he whispered soft.

          Suk Jin's done with what he's doing, asked what's with the sudden apologize. He slowly rubbed the dongsaeng's back, calming him down.

          “For... Being a nuisance to you... Because of me, you didn't get the scholarship. Because of me, you had a row with your family. Because of me, you have to change course. Because... Because..."

          “Sukkie ah. I don't remember you being a nuisance to me in any way. It's not really your fault for whatever is happening to me."

          “You can go back to music if you want..."

          “What do you mean?"

          “Like I didn't noticed that you've been carrying a guitar behind your back since last year. Like I didn't notice you've been singing on the streets last year. You're talented in singing and I took that chance away, again."

           “Maybe, but not this year. I mean, hey, at least I have a wider choice. If I couldn't make it into the music industry, I could always try my luck in broadcasting. See, you didn't cause trouble for me."

          “You always find the sun in a gloomy afternoon."

          Silence fell in the room, except for Kwang Soo's snore. Suk Jin keeps on rubbing his back while Jae Suk took a peek at the clock. It's 0315, a few more hours before dawn.
   
            “Hyung, can you sing me a lullaby?"

          Without further questioning, he just did as requested. A soft melody was hummed, enough to make someone fell unconscious. Even the singer himself doze off.

          I don't want to let you go. Now I remember why...

Author's note: I want to make this one longer... But you guys might say I'm being unfair...

P/S: Anyone got any idea for Jong Kook? No? Give me at least 2 weeks for me to figure out something.

P/S/S: There's barely a Suk Jin fanfic... Need to do something about it...
