“DARAAAA!! Did you find him?!”

“Not yet… I’m in the garden”

“What?! Why are you looking there? Choco could be outside the village by now!!”

“Bommie…I’m trying my best okay? Calm down…maybe he returned... you never know”

“But…but…My poor Choco!! He could be OW!! Hey!! Easy on the driving will you? I want to find Choco…alive”

“Yes your Highness” Byunghee replied sarcastically.

Dara POV

I rolled my eyes & placed the phone on my other ear as Bom continued freaking out on the other line. She only calmed down during lunch & then resumed on her panic attack. Right now she’s with Byunghee who volunteered (because no one else did) to help her find him outside the village & Bom agreed out of desperation. 

*sigh*

I turned my phone off as Bom & Byunghee continued their bantering… completely forgetting I’m on the other line.

Where the hell is that mutt?

The mutt a.k.a Choco is Bommie’s beloved pet…we have that mutual Love-Hate relationship going on. Well… I Love him but he Hate me… Why you ask? Well he just tore 2 of my precious Manga collection, ate MY cookies at MY room (it’s not my fault it fell on the floor) before peeing there…twice!! If that’s not enough when I told Bom & Sanghyun about it, they blamed me!! ME!! Argh!! My Seobie baby is more obedient than him!!  That-

What was that?!

I stopped in my tracks as I listened intently

Is that choco I hear?

I looked at the side fence as I heard whimpers

“Choco? Yah mutt…I mean…good boy… where are you honey?”

I glanced at the empty house on the other side & got Goosebumps… it’s been 3 years since someone lived there & there have been stories circulating that ghosts *shivers* are seen there. I don’t want to believe those stories because I never experienced any supernatural events…mainly because I never went out alone at night & I avoid that house.

“Don’t worry Choco… Dara is here to rescue you”

I rushed back to our back door & hurriedly grabbed whatever I can. Even if it’s broad daylight you never know. Who says ghosts are seen only at night huh?!

I tiptoed my way back to the side fence & peered at the other side…Armed & Heart beating fast, expecting the worst to come out.

“Choco? Choco? Where are you? Come here boy”

I froze as the side fence moved & heard rustles…that sounds so…near.

“Is he your dog?”

…….

………..

KYAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

I screamed as I turned around… hitting the broom with all my might at whoever or whatever is behind me.

GET *hit* AWAY *hit* FROM ME *hit hit* YOU STUPID *hit* GHOST *hit* I’M NOT AFR-

 “OW!! Hey cut it-OW!! OW!! OW!!”

Wait… Ghosts can speak?!!

My hands froze mid-air as I looked at the ghost sprawled on the ground & Choco… sitting besides him. Oh crap.

 I can feel my face burning up as I finally realized it’s not a ghost but a man & felt panic when he got up…Oh crap. It’s gorgeous guy #2!! Waaah!!!!

“I- I…I...Y-you” I started speaking… trying to compose a decent apology when he smiled & shook his head.

“It’s okay… I’m not mad; it’s actually my fault for startling you like that & not to mention trespassing like this” He smiled again before jumping back to the other side of the fence & leaned on it.

“I just want to return your dog. He’s been with me this morning, I found him at the gate…I thought nobody owned him until I heard you talking on the phone & figured he’s yours…sorry” He finished before smiling again…eyes disappearing cutely at the same time.

Oh what a cute eye smile!!

“Hey you okay?” He asked worriedly, waving his hands in front of me.

I snapped back to reality & gave him a loop-sided smile.

“Uh yeah…Uhm actually he’s my sister’s dog, she’s really worried so thank you for returning him”

“No problem”

*silence*

“Uh… I’m Sandara by the way…Sandara Park but you can call me Dara” I extended a hand & smiled as he blushed slightly. He seemed startled.

“Uh…I’m Wooyoung…Jang Wooyoung. Me & My friend just moved here last night so yeah that makes us your new neighbour”

“Friend?”

“Ah… Seungho. Yang Seungho…He’s the one who helped you up last night when you uh…” He trailed off, probably took pity on my embarrassed face. How can he still remember that?!

“So uhm…I have to do some unpacking & stuff inside… Are you & Choco gonna be okay?”

“yah..Thanks again for returning him…welcome to our village & goodluck with the unpacking”

He smiled before walking away. I followed him with my eyes before jumping up & looking down when I felt something wet on my knee.

Choco wagged his tail before running inside the house.

“Ohohoho so you missed me now you mutt huh? I knew it!! I know you’ll know of my  importance when we’re apart”

I looked back at the other house & smiled.  

What a cutie!! So his name is Wooyoung huh? And gorgeous guy #1 is Seungho

I took out my phone & dialled Bom’s number. I have to let her know Choco is here before she & Byunghee kill each other.

“Hello? Bom? Choco is back..yeah told he’s here all along, go home now & let Byunghee rest…I have some interesting news to tell you too” 

I turned off my phone before Bom can react & went inside to feed the mutt before he decides to have his snack on my room again.
