Whirlwind: Chapter Four (Sehun)
The Stone Chronicles: Rise of the UndeadThe two men sat in awkward silence, finishing one beer and then another. By that point, Sehun had worked up more than enough courage to engage the man that he had been staring at for the past hour. If he’d noticed Sehun staring daggers at the side of his head, he hadn’t shown it. He was far too busy boasting loudly of women he’d had and beasts he’d slain to take any notice of anyone else. Just as the man paused to take another drink out of his 10th, or possibly 11th mug of beer, Sehun stood up. Emery looked up. “Hey, old man.”
The table became quiet, the man taking the drink from his face, wiping drops of beer from his curly beard and turning around to face him.
“Are you speaking to me, boy?”
“I am. I want to ask you a question.”
The table began to snicker as the man turned to face Sehun, a smug look on his face.
“Why, go right ahead!”
Sehun bent down, leaning closer to the seated man.
“Do you know me?”
The older man's smile quickly faded.
The man stood to face him and an unatural quiet fell over the tables surr
