“If you're all so set on it, fine. Go and see if you can find this woman, this Brunhild. It doesn't matter at all to me.”
Chen spoke apprehensively.
“I... I've spoken to her son, several times. It seems that he hasn’t seen her in many years, but he has some idea where she may be living. He believes that she's unlikely to have gone far. We’re extremely lucky that he agreed to show us."
“We have Rhoslyn's bravery to thank for that, I’m sure,” Xiumin said, smiling.
“I believe that we do, at least in part,” Chen returned. "It'd be best if she accompanied one of us to the meeting with her son. He seems prickly, but he respects her and feels that he owes her a debt for her service. At any rate, he said that he would gladly lead us to his mother tomorrow morning, should we chose to go. I mean, if you’ll allow it, of course." He looked at Suho, who simply shook his head and began walking away.
“It doesn’t matter what I do or don't allow, I’m sure you’ll all do as you please, anyway. You always do."
They watched as he ascended the stairs without another word.
