Whirlwind: Chapter Two (Sehun)
The Stone Chronicles: Rise of the UndeadSehun left the cottage for the gates of Cholerny at dawn, silently cursing himself for volunteering. It wasn’t the first time his mouth had gotten him in trouble, however, and it certainly wouldn’t be the last.
He made it to the village in good time, and always true to her word, Rhoslyn was there to meet him.
The two of them hadn’t really spoken before, but they recognized each other immediately; him by her impressive armour, her by his tall, thin frame. Not being able to read his expression as he approached, she stepped toward to meet him.
“Hello, Sehun. It seems that I’m to be your guide for the morning.”
She stuck out her hand and he took it without enthusiasm.
“Hm, I suppose so.”
She laughed.
“You don’t seem terribly pleased to be doing this.”
His features formed a brief expression of guilt before returning to their natural aloof state.
“It’s not that I don’t want to; It’s just that I don’t go out on my own very often.”
“Oh, so that’s it. Well, don’t worry too much. You could have a worse companion for the day than Emery.”
They entered the village, walking at a leisurely pace.
“Are you close?”
“Mmm, I wouldn’t say that. We’ve been through quite a bit together, though. I will tell you something, however. You mustn’t mind his snobb
