ImmuneJessica ran, tripping over her long dress. She could hear her sister panting as they crossed the woody terrain. She sprinted deeper into the dense forest that loomed before her. It was nighttime and she blindly ran into the awaiting mass of plants. Twigs snapped at her face as she ran faster. She hastily wiped blood from a cut above her eye and continued to dash away. Plants continued to slap her face and blurred her vision. She suddenly tripped over a tree root, sprawling down a steep hill. Branches snapped at her face, creating stinging cuts. Dirt fell into as rocks pummeled her body. She stopped rolling and collapsed into a large pile of dead leaves, then got up and started to run again, slipping in the decaying matter. Her muscles were burning and she finally stopped to realize that her sister wasn't with her. She was alone. "Krystal?" she shouted out.
