This is actually wrong. Me, going out alone without Manager Oppa’s permission, but after I received Seunghoon’s text last night, everything doesn’t seem wrong to me anymore. The last time he texted me was a few months ago and it’s already autumn. It feels too long... The other members also don’t know that I’m going out tonight.

I hug myself and rub my arm for heat. Tonight is cold but as I think about him, my face gets hot all over. It’s funny on how strange I’ve been since I met Seunghoon. The thrill I feel inside my chest still hasn’t ceased down and I think I like this feeling.

“Wendy-ssi.”

That voice… I hold my breath for a second before turning to that voice. He’s wearing a black sweater and pair of dark pants. No, he didn’t cover his face and he let his hair down to his forehead. No makeup. He looks like a child tonight, cute… And oddly, when I see his face, I feel like tearing up because I can’t contain this happiness in my chest. Is it because I missed him?

“How long have you been here?” He asks, puffs of white smoke came out from his lips. I take off my mask and smile.

“Just a while ago.”

But when I look into his eyes, he always tries to avoid my gaze and something tells me that there’s something wrong with him. Somehow, I feel afraid.

He suddenly grins and walks to the side of the pond inside the palace. Changgyeongung is so pretty especially at night and when I notice that there’re not much people, I finally realize the reason why he wants to meet me here.

Carefully, I follow his acts and stand beside him at the pond.

“Have you been well?” He asks, starting the conversation.

“Yes. You?”

“I’m alright.” He turns to me and smiles. “You look better with this hair colour. Brown looks good on you.” He says and my face feels hot all of the sudden.

“Thanks.”

“Wendy-ssi, can you answer me honestly?” He asks while looking at the scenery before us, not to my eyes. Oddly, I notice that his voice’s shaking. Could it be that it’s because of the cold?

“What is it?”

“What is your dream?”

That question… It’s exactly like the one that I asked him five years ago. I look down to the grass beneath me, suddenly feeling a little nervous. Why is he asking something like this?

“A singer.” I answer and inch closer to him. It’s still the same like before.

“Me too.” He says and turns to me. “And I don’t want to doubt about that anymore.”

“Uh?”

“You told me your dream is to become a singer right? Well, I am too but after I met you, I started to have two dreams and another one is to be with you.”

It’s like I can’t hear anything right after I heard his confession. My heart’s racing as I look into his eyes.

“I still have my w
