~ One Happy Family ~

Taehyung scooped Chanmi in his arms and picked her up from the floor, spinning her around as their bright smiles lightened up the whole room.

“Appa! Be careful you might drop umma!” Taekwon scolded, a worried look on his face as he ran towards the living room with Taeguk tailing him from behind.

Curiosity filled Taeguk while she stared at her overjoyed parents. “Umma, appa, why are you two so happy?”

Taehyung set Chanmi down, helping her as she wobble from the dizziness. Her husband went over to his children and picked both of them up in his arms. The two children were clueless of the situation but at the same time they felt like it was something good.

“Taekwon… Taeguk…” he said, his voice low and deep as he took a seat on the sofa, the two kids on each of his lap. “You two are going to have a new sibling!” he announced.

The kids shrieked in excitement, “I’m going to have a little sister!” Taeguk practically screamed right into her father’s ears.

“Or a little brother,” Taekwon grinned.

Chanmi couldn’t help but smile, admiring how cute her family seemed. “Okay, kids,” she said as she walked over to the couch and picked up Taeguk in her arms. “It’s time for bed.”

They both grunted, “But we don’t want to sleep, we want to keep celebrating!” Taekwon pouted.

The way Taekwon spoke made him too cute for her to handle but she knew she couldn’t give in to their cuteness. “I’m sorry guys but it’s a little too late for us to be celebrating right now. Tell you what, I’ll make my special pancakes tomorrow for you guys.”

The two cheered. Chanmi couldn’t help but let out a little at how easily she can bribe her two children. The sudden thought made her wonder what kind of personality will her next child have, hopefully someone bright and smiles a lot like she knew how Taehyung does.

The two of them tucked their little tykes in bed, giving them kisses on their foreheads before the two of them went back into their own room. They were finally alone together.

The moment they reached their room, Taehyung immediately went to their wardrobe. “Sweatpants or night gown?” he asked

“Pants,” she answered, sitting down on the queen-sized bed as she waited for Taehyung to come.

 Taehyung smiled as he approached her, “You know, it’s surprising how you can cook by yourself without any help and yet I still have to dress you up every time,” he said.

“Well, I can’t really see… so… yeah,” she answered. “I have to trust that person who dresses me every day, and I also have to trust their fashion sense.”

“So you trust me enough to dress you every day?”

“Yes.”

“What if one day I decide to dress you like a clown?”

She gave him a glare, “I’ll kill you.”

Taehyung let out a little laugh then bent down on his knees in front of her to meet her at eye level. He has always admired her eyes, though she isn’t able to see with them, he still loved staring into her caramel-like eyes.

He smiled cupping her cheeks with his warm hands then leaned his head forward until their foreheads were against each other’s, the warmth of his breath was grazing against her lips. “I would never do that to you,” he said.

A smile formed on her lips after hearing Taehyung speak. She looked straight, knowing that Taehyung was staring at her eyes again, she remembered how Taehyung’s eyes were usually filled with so much joy that it would just sparkle whenever he smiles.

The moment Chanmi laid in bed, her eyes started to get heavier by the second. She jolted from surprise when Taehyung suddenly jumped on the bed just like a little kid. He kissed her forehead as an apology for startling her.

Just when Chanmi was about to sleep, she suddenly felt movement, Taehyung’s head was suddenly on her stomach.

“Tae…?” she said curiously, intertwining her fingers with his thick locks of brown hair.

There was no response. He moved his hand to her stomach, caressing it carefully as if it were the most fragile and precious thing in the world. “Aegi-ah…” he suddenly whispered. “You are one lucky baby to be born from a wonderful woman like your mother.”

The heartfelt words almost bought Chanmi into tears. She didn’t expect that he would say something so deep and heartfelt like that all of a sudden.

“Promise me that you’ll take care of your mother in the future and give her lots of love just as much as she’s going to give you while growing up.

She was speechless by his words, his tone and the way he said it, it made her feel warm and fluffy inside. She placed her hand on top of Taehyung’s and smiled, “Aegi-ah, when you’re born, we’ll make the best memories ever with Taekwon and Taeguk.

Taehyung smiled, moving from his position so that he was properly lying beside Chanmi on the bed, his hand never leaving her belly. He gave her one last kiss on the forehead, “Just like one happy family.”

I am finally back and I have no school anymore! YEHET!!! Hehehe sorry for the really long wait, I was busy with school work and all that stuff and ugh finals TT^TT
