This mattress is totally different from the one I had at home. This room doesn’t feel like home, more like a prison box because I feel like there’s some kind of hidden camera hiding around here. But I guess these are the perks of living a life on the other side. It was hard for me to sleep during the night and I miss the glowing stars in my room. I turned to Krystal who’s in her deep sleep. The TV was left on the whole night, because I can’t sleep in total darkness.

I got up from bed, and changed directly into my gym clothes. I want to go for a run this morning. But I’m not sure I’d have the energy for it. I quickly slipped on a hoody sweater, leggings and running shoes. I did it as quietly as possible, making sure Krystal doesn’t wake. I left our room, shutting it quietly, and from the looks of how quiet the house is, everyone’s still asleep. I passed by the boys room, and couldn’t help but wonder if Jaejoong’s awake. But there was only silence.

I left, and the morning breeze sent chills all over my body. I stretched out a bit before I started moving my feet. It was nice, breathing through my nose, then breathing out through my mouth. My body felt restless, it was quite numb, maybe because we drank last night. But it’s bearable. Jogging through the neighborhood would also make me familiarize myself around here.

“Dara-shi.”

Eh? To my surprise, it’s Mr. President. He lives here, I almost forgot. “Hwaejangnim” I bowed down. I felt my heartbeat rising a bit faster. I think it’s because of my boss’s presence. “Good morning.”

“Morning exercise?” he asked.

I nodded my head, I noticed his outfit. It’s totally different from what he usually wears. From his gentleman suits, he wore his workout clothes. He had a long blue zipped up jacket, grey sweatpants and running shoes. Even in those clothes he totally looks, erm, handsome? I can’t help but only think about his superior looks. He’s no ordinary man and it’s extremely intimidating for some reason.

“Let’s go together.” He insisted.

“Eh?”

“It’s boring to run alone.”

“Come on.” He grabbed my arm.

“Eh???” he dragged me along. I tried to keep up but then his long legs made it seem easier for him to make longer leaps.

I tried my best to keep up, my calf was already burning, but I need to do this! I don’t want him to think I’m weak. Eventually, after a 30 minute run with the president plus the other 30 minute I did before made me feel like I lost a hundred years of my life. “Dara-shi, you’re sweating a lot.” He  says. He didn’t seem quite tired at all!

“Y-Yeah….” I leaned towards a fence.

“You should exercise more often to better your stamina.” He suggested, “You also probably drank last night, that’s why you seem restless.”

“How do you know?” I asked.

“Your manager invited me but I was quite busy yesterday.” He said. “I’ll invite you guys to my house next time.” He places his arms on his waist.

 I looked up to see sweat running down the side of his head. Suddenly, he took his sweater off revealing a white v-neck shirt he wore underneath. A lot of his skin’s exposed showing his toned body. But I can’t help but notice his wide chest and shoulders. Omaigash, anymore of this could give me nosebleed. Look away Park Sandara!

“It’s really hot. Do you want to have coffee at my house before you go?” he asked.

“E-Eh? Uhm… I think I have to go back soon.” I said.

“I see, it’s been a while since I worked out with someone.” He said.

“Oh” I nodded trying to avoid an eye contact with him. “Let’s do this more often.” I nodded my head, but then wait! Again? With him? I felt like this jog lasted for ages! Suddenly, I felt fingers brush against my face. He picked strands of my hair from my face. He places those strands away from my eyes and within half a second, I felt blood rushing to my face. I pulled myself away, “I’m sorry.” He says and pulls his hand away. He turned away when our eyes met.

“Eh?” I’m pretty sure, my face is all sweaty right now. Not to mention, no makeup. But why is he sorry? Sorry for melting my heart like this?

He’s standing there looking tall and handsome. Just like a prince I only see in stories. He’s making my heart tremble, it’s really exciting but it feels like I’m committing a crime. “You’re cheeks are really red.” He pointed out.

I covered my face, “Oh, it’s hot that’s why.” I fanned them with my hands.

“So… I guess, I’ll see you again.” He turned around and walks the other way. I stood here frozen while I watched him walk away.

What is the meaning of this? Does he even know  he makes people feel awkward around him? Or is it just me?

I returned home, and to my surprise, I see Kwangsoo oppa in the kitchen making breakfast with Chanyeol. “Noona, you went out?” Chanyeol saw me surprised to know that I went out really early. “Oh, you exercised?” Kwangsoo oppa turned around to look at me.

“Yeah.” I said while taking my shoes off.

“Take me with you next time.” He said.

“Do you want coffee?” Kwangsoo asked while holding a mug.

I shook my head, “Nah, I’ll stay away from caffeinated drinks for now.” I said. “I’ll go get ready.”

“Okay, you guys will have a shoot today. So take a shower and prepare. Chanyeol-ah, I’ll do this.” Kwangsoo oppa ordered while taking the spatula from his hand.

“Oh… okay hyung. I’ll wake up the others.” Chanyeol said.

Chanyeol and I ran upstairs to get ready, I went to my room and saw Krystal up and dressed. She’s putting on makeup before she leaves this room. “Oh, you’re back?” she asked.

“Yup.”

“You should’ve woken me up so we could go exercise together.” She said.

I laughed a bit, “You’re the third person this morning who told me that.” It was the president at first, then Chanyeol and next was Krystal.

“Really? Let’s go together next time.”

I nodded my head, “I’ll take a shower.” I said while I took my shower utensils to the bathroom.

We now all gathered in the dining table except for Jaejoong who’s still upstairs getting ready. It’s 7 and everyone’s having their breakfast. There were eggs, sausage, dumplings, and other side dishes. We’re like a huge family gathered here. “Oppa, I’ll order dinner today.” I suggested while having a piece of dumpling.

“We’re not even sure if we’re going to get back early today.” He said.

“Aren’t we only doing a photoshoot?” Sanghyun asked.

“I don’t know how long it’ll be. This shooting is for your promotional video.” Kwangsoo oppa said, just right about then Jaejoong came down dressed in his regular clothing, “Jaejoong-ah! Hurry we only have 20 minutes before we leave. Finish eating, I’ll prepare the car.” He got up and went out.

“I’m done.” Kystal called out.

“You only ate 2 spoons.” Sanghyun worriedly said.

“We’re having a photoshoot. I can’t feel bloated.”

“Krystal-ah, take you’re multi-vitamin.” Jaejoong insisted while he grabbed a seat beside me.

Everyone was almost done while Jaejoong grabbed a small plate. “You left this morning?” he asked a question directly at me.

“Yeah, exercising.” I answered.

“Alone?”

My eyes widened, what should I say? “I guess.” I shrugged my shoulders.

“Oh…” I could not look towards him, he’ll read my eyes if he saw them.

It shouldn’t be anything serious right? It feels like I committed a crime. But what crime? I saw the President and that’s about it. But I feel myself getting worked up. I seriously don’t know what’s going on with me. It’s not like I declared my feeling for him and he does not even have any clue about it. Keeping it quiet seems to be helping but I’m deceiving myself. Then the President comes into the picture and sometimes I don’t know how I feel anymore.
