He awoke that morning groaning when he saw that the clock displayed the time to be 7am - it's dark outside still, he knows he should be sleeping. But still he awakens as glances over at his nephew shivering in his sleeping in the thin sleeping bag. He clicks the heating on and goes about his daily washing and dressing routine. Soon enough he puts his nephew in the bed long enough so room service has been and gone and enough time for the boy to stop shivering. Putting him back on the floor before he wakes for food. 

Taking a large breakfast and leaving a few dumplings and kimchi soup to tease and taunt his nephew. He knows it's wrong but he doesn't care. His nephew awakes and mumbles a good morning uncle before blearily staring at the food he knows the boy desperately wants but itsnt allowed to eat.  A sick demented smile is plastered on his face as he see the boy whimper and walk off to the bathroom. Leaving the boy to cry he walked around the resort eyeing all the rich guests. He met the eyes of the richest lady staying in the hotel and gave her a sickly smirk before complimenting her 

"that's a beautiful necklace madam" He knows it'll be in his posession tonight after his nephew Eunhyuk works his magic.

After strolling around the resort all day he summons Eunhyuk for work. He demands the necklace and anything else of value 

"or else you know what will happen don't you" he sickly growled 

"Y-Yes uncle" he loves it when the boy stammers shows his fear of his hyung. 

He patiently waits for Eunhyuk to complete his work. After a while he starts to get anxious, his palms get all sweaty as he loosens his tie. He's still relatively calm as he can't hear people making a commotion or the wail of sirens. Not wanting to risk anything he pages Eunhyuk beeper telling him to return at once.  He paces the room until the boy springs in from the window and looks up at him from a crouching stance on the floor. He inwardly sighed of relief as the boy unfastened his backpack 

"What did you get? You better of not dissapointed me boy!" 

"Oh I did good" Eunhyuk faked a gummy smile and threw the goods towards his uncle 

"oh my! Strawberry milk, rice and bananas for you tonight!" he beamed Eunhyuk made a funny face but nodded.

At least he was getting a bit more food than usual.

He continued watching his nephew for the next few days. It seems he's developed a friendship with another boy. Rolling his eyes as he sighed  "just like before..."  He watched the other boy take Eunhyuk by the hand and take him somewhere and for the first time since he gained custody of his nephew he'd seen him show a proper smile, one that me his eye and made them glisten in happiness. It was getting late, almost time for Eunhyuk to start work and he wasn't even back at their room. He was probably with that boy...he was going to be a problem wasn't he?? 

"Uncle?? I'm back for work" Eunhyuk walked in 

"Where have you been?!" 

"I-I was looking around the h-hotel" 

"Is that cake on the corner of your lips??" Soo man asked Eunhyuk's eyed widened a he backed away from his uncle

"I should be getting to work now..." 

His uncle had an iron grip on his wrist as he pinned the boy to the floor and held his arm out as id he was about to snap it 

"answer me you little brat!" he roughly slapped the boy

"Ne" it wasn't even a whisper but he heard it

"You idiot!" he slapped Eunhyuk as he cowered 

Taking off his belt and whipping his arms 10 times before making him go to work despite being injured. Eunhyuk had to work longer too - robbing 15 rooms in total. One time he almost got caught! As he was sneaking out the window the entrance light flicked on. 

"See that's what you get for eating cake! It's slop food! It slows you down and weakens your stamina!!" Soo man lectured 

Eunhyuk was sent to his sleeping bag without any food, left to shiver himself to sleep. But thoughts of Donghae and their friendship warmed him up and got him through the pain of burning flesh on his arms and the bitter cold night.  Soo man lay awake listening to Eunhyuk shiver. He knew this little friend was going to be a problem, he might just have to do something about him...
