“You have ten ing seconds to tell me who the hell sent a hit on our safe house before I blow your brain into a million pieces.”

The man shook nervously under the tightening hold of my hand around his throat. I grew tired and uninterested as seconds ticked by. My patience met its limit the minute my assistant, Xiumin, entered the room, phone in hand.

“Madam, young master Junsu would like to speak to you,” he informs in his deep voice. I roll my eyes in annoyance. My idiot brother always had such timing. I turn back to the captive shaking beneath my hand and give him a regretful smile.

“You had your chance,” I murmur softly and pull the trigger of my gun. The shot rang through the room and I grimace as blood splattered onto my new suede Louboutins.

“Damnit, those were expensive,” I breathe in annoyance and walk over to Xiumin to give him the gun and grab the phone from his outstretched hand. I press the phone against my ear.

“What do you want, Junsu?” I ask in an irritated tone.

“Father told me to inform you to get ready. I’ll be picking you up at seven o’clock. His direct instructions,” he says. I roll my eyes. The old man couldn’t give me at least a five minute break, could he?

“What for? I’ve already finished the schedule that’s been needed to get done. What else does father want?” I groan, agitated by the whole ordeal.

I hear Junsu’s annoying laugh on the other end of the line and as I’m about to hang up the damn phone, he speaks in the most agitating mocking voice ever to exist.

“You, my dear sister, should put on your prettiest little dress and cutest bunny ears because tonight, guess what you’re gonna do?”

“ you, Junsu. If this conversation isn’t going anywhere, I have other important things to do. Specifically, with people that have an IQ above 20. Get on with it,” I yell through the phone causing Xiumin to jump in surprise.

“God, you’re such a . Father said to dress up because tonight, he’s introducing you to your future husband.”
