Kris POV

The party was getting bored. I brought Luhan to sit in the park not far from the building. I brought some drinks and sat beside Luhan 

"Here.. " I said as I gave him his drink 

"Thanks.." He said 

"I'm sorry I'm bringing you to this boring party.." I apologised 

"Ayy.. It's okay you know..the party wasn't bad at all.." He chuckled 

"Beside.. Consider it as my last duty as your assistant .." He added 

"What?! Last duty?! Wow.. Wait a minute.. You want to quit the job?! Lu I thought you said we'll be fine, but-"

"I don't want to quit Kris!" He cut me

"Then why you-" 

"You're the one who looking for a new assistant right?" He cut me again

"H-huh?!"

"Miss Lee told me that she was asked by you to find a new employee.."

Oh my God, Luhan!!

"It isn't for me Luhan! Or for replacing you, silly!!" I pinched his cheeks

"Awww. Kris it's huuuuurtsss!" He whined cutely 

"I'm looking for miss Lee replacement...what makes you think I want to replace you!! Didn't I tell you that I like you!!" 

Luhan turned to me with wide eyes 

"I-i mean I like having an assistant like you!!" I directly corrected 

"Oh.. " 

An awkward silence came afterward. 

"Uhm anyway.. Why you looking for miss Lee replacement? What happen with her?" Luhan broke the silence 

"Oh well yeah.. Miss Lee finally found someone and she will be married next month.. I think this is my way to thank her by letting her go and build her family.. Thus I want to find her replacement.." 

"Oh.." 

I chuckled 

"What's funny?" Luhan asked me

"No.. It's just.. I can't believe that she is finally getting married.. Indeed I can't believe someone could reach that kind of serious relationship.. I just .. I don't believe in love relationship.." I said 

"Why?" Luhan asked 

"Well I don't know.. Well maybe because of my parents.. I mean look at them.. My mom and my step father could married not because of love.. Then they walk their own way.. My mom went crazy and my step father went to his new wife.."

I sighed 

"I'm afraid that I will be like my father who will leave their woman.. I don't want to hurt my lover .. " 

"Hey.." Luhan called me as he held my hand 

"Not all men always hurt their lovers you know.. I believe you're different.. You're better than your father..." I smiled 

I smiled back and held back his hand

"You think so?" 

He nodded 

"Yeah.. Lately somehow I also think the same.. My parents' mistakes should be a lesson for me so I won't do the same mistakes.. I'm trying to open my heart.."

For you! I thought 

"Me too.." He said

"I also didn't believe in relationship.."

"My father left my mother when I was born because he wasn't ready to be a father.. He committed suicide when my mother just told him that I wanted to met him.. Then my mother became stress and died just a year after my father passed away.." He told me

i could feel sadness in his voice 

"The point of my story is now I am so af
