Luhan POV

"let's have this cold war!" 

 Kris' words kept ringing in my mind. It made me sad. 

What made me sadder was Kris really fulfilled his words. 

It was almost two weeks we were in this cold war. Kris and I never talked even just say hi. Miss Lee being the mediator between us.

When Kris needs me to do something, she will tell miss Lee and miss Lee will tell me. I do the same. When I finished the work, I tell miss Lee so she can tell Kris

We work in a very awkward tense. It was like my first day working here. 

No. It was worse than my first day here. 

It was like Kris and I were a stranger to each other. And it really makes me sad.

I finished my work a bit late today. Kris wasn't batted the work today. Thus I needed to handle the work that he left. 

When I walked out the room, I saw miss Lee still busy with documents. 

"Miss Lee.. You haven't finished yet?" 

"Oh hi Lu.. Yeah.. I still need to review some application letters.."

"Application letters?" 

"Yeah.. Mr. Wu needs new employee.. And I have to find the right one and then interview him or her soon.." 

New employee? So..

Kris is looking for ... my replacement?

"Lu.. Are you okay? You are zoning out often lately.." Miss Lee snapped me out 

"Oh.. No.. Nothing.." I lied

"You sure?" 

I nodded 

"I think I'll better be going now.. See you tomorrow miss Lee.." I did as I left

I looked at Kris who was busy reading his files. I remember what Miss Lee said last week, that Kris looking for a new employee

does he ... hate me that much? Until he looking for a new assistant? 

I sighed. 

After all it was my fault. At first, I was the one who started ignoring him. 

When I looked up at Kris again, Kris was also looking at me. I directly tuned away avoiding his cold gaze 

"Uhm.. I've finished sir.. I'm going home.. Good night.." I said as I stood up and left the room. 

I walked fast to the elevator wanting to go home soon and leaving this cold office. 

I walked inside the elevator. I pushed the button to close the door. Just when the door would close in an inch, a hand came between making the elevator doors opened again. 

It was Kris' hands. 

Kris bragged into the elevator and after the doors closed, he pushed the emergency button making the elevator stopped 

He then walked to me, pushing me against the wall and trapping me between his hands. 

He put his hands on the elevator wall, trapping my side so I couldn't move my head and body. 

I just widened my eyes when his fave leaned close.. Too close to me..

"S-sir.."

"I can't Lu!!" he started 

"I can't do this anymore.. I can't do this cold war anymore.." He cried 

"S-sir-"

"I can't hear you call me sir anymore.. I want you to call me Kris again!!" He cut me 

"I cant have lunch without you.. I can't hold to ruffle your hair.. I want to hear your voice again.. Your warm soft and cheerful voice to me!!" He added 

"I .. I.." He stuttered 

"I miss you, Luhan.." 

I gasped and felt that my cheek heated. He then looked down but his hand still trapping me

"M-me too..." I said 

Kris directly looked up at me again

"W-what?" He asked, seemed like didn't believe what I've said

"I-i miss you too.." I said shyly 

"You do?"

I nodded 

"I miss having lunch with you.. I want to call you Kris again.. " I said 

"I hate that I can't hate you, Kris.." I said as I hit his chest lightly

He chuckled 

"So.. We're fine?" He asked 

I nodded 

"You sure?" 

I nodded again 

"Promise that we're not gonna be awkward?"

"I promise.." 

We smiled 

"Prove it!" Kris suddenly said

"H-huh?!" 

"Prove it that you will keep your words!" 

"H-how?" 

"I want you to.." 

Kris then leaned his face closer to my face. I widened my eyes when I saw he moved closer to me. Directly I shut my eyes closed tightly
