ironic how some applicants have horrible grammar and bad grasp of english, yet want to sign themselves up for co-authoring to correct other's grammar.

I normally read other applicant's apps so I can avoid using the same name, face claim, as well as other information (birthdates, family names/fcs, love interests). Plus its enjoyable to read other efforts as well. It shouldn't just be meant for the author to read, right?

i find it unfair when authors update a certain part of their story that serves as beneficial to the applicants. one author never gave background info on the love interests, so i just selected a character. days later she uploaded full information that would be usual to others. i was so frustrated bc she protrayed my chosen love interest as an , which wasn't how i envisioned my loveline for the story. i dont want to sound bratty but i just thought it was unfair, even after i asked to make some changes. she said she preffered me with that already chosen love interest i had. main point to authors, like really get your stuff together before posting stories. she added so much stuff after i applied too that i could've used in my app. this includes any background info an applicant may need, a filled out example app, etc. be on top of your game pls lol.

if there's a big gap once applicants have stopped applying for your fic and you have a large pool to pick from, you should just close down applicants and start selecting. its not fair to those who applied. i've seen too many girls patiently wait for the results and end up not getting any because the story "dies" out since not "enough" applicants applied. one story has 10+ apps with all the plotlines filled and they still are searching for more. it's been nearly a month.
