Guys seriously, stop using anime stereotypes as a major character trait or framework. I mean it's okay if they're /kinda/ like a tsundere or a kuudere or smth but let's be honest: they're unrealistic and writing them will be annoying unless they have /actual/ human traits. Just think: in anime, tsunderes are cute waifus, okay, but they're annoying af in real life. Yanderes are psychopathic and will probably be in a mental institution, unlike the anime yanderes who get away with it because they're the main character. So no, it's not amusing to have real people act like anime characters. And this is coming from an avid otaku who's been labeled as a tsundere in real life, and people outside the creepy otaku circle in my school certainly find my "tsundereness" odd and annoying.

i always feel bad regardless of not choosing the rest of the applicants but it was always a bit more hard to not choose people who wrote long and detailed apps for my applyfic since it shows a lot of effort and time put into it.

When people have like twice the amount of negative traits to positive traits for their character.. like chill bruh. We get it, your charcter's not perfect. Have a medal.

It really bothers me when people who are clearly new to the applyfic scene- and perhaps don't know all the jargon and how coding works- are basically told they aren't good enough by authors. Like, as an author myself, I can easily tell when English isn't a first language or if they're new to applyin
