i have a favorite author (in general, cause they're just amazing!), but unfortunately they're on a hiatus, and its really sad cause i really like their stories and even applyfics + app characters, they're not detailed, but it's just the way they write (anything) that really gets me to like their fics because of their writing style/skill. it has that feel to it. & im just really sad because they're gone, yet mad because people are copying/plagiarizing their work and im just sitting here complaining about it, wishing i could do something, you know?

i absolutely adore coding applyfic layouts, (and not to seem selfish in any way) but i hate distributing codes because they always get overused. once you see your layout somewhere, everyone's going to ask you for the code and people start to get bored of the same thing every time they open an applyfic. as an author as well, i get so bored of this and lose interest. i'm not trying to direct any attention away from layouts or authors, but you should try to be original and not use something from a shop that you've already seen at least three times.

I think it is fine to create a character that has contradicting traits, like the previous confessor mentioned already. We are humans. We have contradicting traits. No one is perfect. So the apply fic authors asking for no contradicting traits is seriously tripping on something.

everyone complains about how there should be applyfics with unique themes and all that jazz, but why when there's a really unique and cool applyfic there's only like 6 subscribers?
